The Betrayal of Guillaume de L'hôpital

Two of the top calculus students at Nashville School of the Arts (Class of 2024) made this brilliant film. Based on real-life events, a wealthy Frenchman named L'hôpital stole groundbreaking calculus discoveries from Johann Bernoulli in the late 1600s and published them as his own! He was thought to be one of the greatest mathematical minds in world history until his fraudulent activities were exposed in the 1930s. This film puts a modern twist on this old controversy. And a notable former calculus student from NSA even makes a cameo appearance.
