An informative and interesting presentation from David Lindo to the supporters of Sheffield and Rotherham Wildlife Trust.
David Lindo is The Urban Birder – broadcaster, writer, naturalist, speaker, tour leader, photographer and, of course, birder! His mission is to engage people who live in cities and towns around the world with their environment through the medium of birds.
Born and raised in London, David loves anything to do with nature, but birds have been his passion and speciality. He is the author of ‘The Urban Birder’, ‘Tales from Concrete Jungles’, ‘#Urban Birding’ and ‘How to Be an Urban Birder’.
Through his work, David inspires people to re-look at their urban environments. By simply opening our eyes, ears, hearts and minds, we can easily engage with wildlife in even the most urban corners of the world.
David was recently named as the 7th most influential person in wildlife by BBC Wildlife Magazine.
