I just started this game havent played destiny since the first one and that was on 360 im honestly really freaking lost right now I don’t know what’s my main objective and what’s just side quests and I don’t know where to go Ghost isn’t much help for wave points. Im on Xbox btw does anyone know what I’m supposed to be looking for or doing or even willing to help? Xbox clubs aren’t much help either since it’s mostly filled with weirdos, trolls and toxic ppl and people looking to get internet pussy lol fkin losers. I really want to get into this game bc from what I experienced so far it’s super fun just not new player friendly whatsoever Atleast in DarkSouls you have a general idea of what the fck to do lol. seems the best way to power up your gear drops is to have your highest power weapon for each slot in your vault? then it doesn't matter which character you play? IS that right?

Good lord Destiny has become so complicated with all the "MENU's" for customization options, of EVERYTHING. Not of fan of this methodology. It didn't used to be no so damn convoluted (congested). The way it is now, one could spend hours if not days just trying to customize your character(s) without even playing the game to get ONE kill. All time spent is on just figuring out a damn build. Geeeeeeeeez. I've been gone for almost 2 years away from Destiny and I just don't have the time for all that. Oh well. Nice tutorial though. Very thorough. It's just gotten to be too much for me to return to Destiny and I used to be a die hard player. These builds could take days if not weeks to figure out what works for one's play style, and then on top of that, you have to grind for materials to make the build. NOPE not gonna do it. I opened the game up the other day and got so lost. It's changed drastically. Too much for my tastes.

I started on Titan and while still playing them often, it's nothing compared to my Warlocks hours

I started with warlock I am now a hunter main

this game is only meant for veterans. New players cant even play. you can download but goodluck with actually trying to play the game.

all this right before bungo removes legendary shards (a major wall for new players) and will likely continue making changes so that new players can play lightfall without their experience outside of it's campaign just being shit (I really hope so at least, started a new account a month or so ago to check it all out and holy shit it's bad)

The absolute best change bungie has ever done to this game is making all primary just have infinite ammo, becasue before they were finite and to compensate literally hundreds of silver ammo boxes would be raining constantly. So with your infinite ammo assault rifle go crazy wit it

yea even with this very good breakdown, this game is a nightmare for new players. i tell all my freinds to avoid this game. and most of them dont like it to begin with. its sad but bungo did it to themselves. and this is just game play. having any fucking clue whats going on in the storyline is a whole other iceberg.

I always get hyped and spend 100$ to buy all seasons. But then I only play 1 / 3 seasons. Wish I didn't have to deal with fomo in destiny 2.

I only play warlock, but I have one of each class and have played all of them but I like warlock best. I don't play the pvp in this game because why would I? If I want to play pvp in a video game, I can go play Call of duty, valerent, or csgo, all of which are better pvp fps games. I just stick to pve. Technically, each class has only 3 sub classes the other two are locked behind a $60 pay wall. Destiny 2 isn't free to play it's free to try.

i feel like the description of hunter being like stealthy and 'rogue like' is a very bad one, purely because they're not, everything you do breaks stealth

if anything the more descript terms for each of them are;
warlocks - can summon elemental souls to help you out, has good synergies with all manners of space magic abilities, a very high movement skill ceiling and have the best variety of supers
hunters - simple to play, fast and agile, whether its guns or stabbing people hunter has you covered
titans - easy to learn, lacking all the variety in supers, generally gets nerfed the most, has no real place in end game outside of 1 raid & half their kit is permanently turned off because of enemies with shields

If Bungie wants my money so bad. I would give it to them if they let me buy Raid Armor. But that will never happen 😂

If you want to be:

a) Loved in pve - Warlock
b) Broken in pve without any other way - Titan
c) Top in pvp and mid (not mean to bad at all) in pve - Hunter

This video came at a wonderful time, i had 1400h in destiny 2 when i stopped playing back in season of the splicer, got back into the game 2 weeks ago and there's a lot of different things!

Great video with a good overview of classes/subclasses and game systems for new players. Gonna cram it down all my friends throats until they pick the game up!
