Beating Skyrim The Way Bethesda Intended

I go with one of two builds.

Tower Mage
You specialize in Block, Heavy Armor, and Destruction, Conjuration, and Alteration. You cant bash, and can only do damage through Summoning or Destruction.

OR

The Spellsword
Heavy Armor, uses no shields whatsoever, cant use Alteration, Sword in one hand (unenchanted, always poisoned) and Destruction in the other (usually frost).

Steed stone only for both builds. Lover stone with the Circlet.

Tower mages idea was a crafty nuisance character who hides behind a big ass shield and casts magic from a medium distance, but runs from direct battle.

Spellsword dude usually charges in head first as a kind of glass cannon, or holds back and waits for the right moment.

Archery sucks ngl.

I actually never made an stealth archer build, nor I did find it so fun. Is there something wrong with me?

My friend Bethesda is wrong. Any character they design my character would crush. I know ways to get to level 100 in minutes once the right equipment is obtained. I let the Ebony Warrior attack me for minutes and killed him with one shot out of my bow using iron arrows. I have hundreds of thousands of septims. I am a god amongst men in Skyrim fear me and rejoice.

If you have an unenchanted dragonbone sword that is legendary and you have a glicth if your a werewolf or vampire lord you can get infinite shouts so get the shout that can speed your weapon to insane levels and poof over powered

One of the fondest memories i have of skyrim is to play a Dwemer (high elf) heavy armor crossbow build, scavenging through ruins to forge the perfect weapon and armor, imbuing my bolts with elemets and enchanting my gear, like "my ancestors" did before me.
I never over did it, i used my bolt/arrows crafting sessions to grow with smithing and used every matirial i had to make a profit with enchanting, potions and poisons for my falmer follower (Faendal) made great trainings for alchemy.
The feeling of not being just a prophecy hero but a scavenger and hunter of ancient knowlege, man! Every quest felt like it had a purpose, every new dungeon a step closer to my character goals. When i finally killed Alduin it was because it felt like i had found a world to live in.

It's pretty funny to me that this is essentially the way that I play Skyrim, but I have a whole butt load of mods that make up for all the shortcomings that all of the world stuff like hunting and mining and fighting and running and falling and the shops and the people and the animals and the trees and, well... you get the idea.

You know, coming back to this game years later, no longer a child just wanting to get daedric gear and kill dragons, but actually wanting to enjoy the experience of the world Bethesda crafted; roleplaying and taking the time to appreciate the gameworld and really immerse myself in it made me enjoy Skyrim a lot more. Read the books, eat and sleep, don't fast travel. Things like that really add up and make it actually feel like you're in a whole nother world, not just a game.

Quickly realized I'm watching a video by a person who knows one thousandth what I do about Skyrim

Melee. Meh. Try a Mage. Best to have the half cost casting Before you try and kill the West Keep Dragon. Even then it's not easy.

I must be the only one that only uses warhammers and other two handed weapons with no magic whatsoever 😂

I'm creating a dice roll based mini game for character creation with one roll that gives you one to three re rolls for character parameters like race or weapon or armor type. Even have a sub class for the three classes, mage, warrior, or their. Sub class being werewolf, vampire, or normal. Each class has 5 perkable abilities only with a sixth bonus choice at the very end of the character creation mini game process. Classes have morality restrictions as well, good, neutral, or bad which determines if you can steal or not. Other rules like vampires default to bad morality or thieves are only neutral or bad. All determined by dice rolls instead of player choice.

How did you get uthgerd if you hadn’t been to whiterun????

I've never once bought a potion in skyrim nor engaged with alchemy in a meaningful way. You find so many potions from looting that I've never felt the need

I only started playing a few days ago... I thought arrows were weak as hell. The only times I saw them do damage is when I got hit. Also, f**k giants

Alchemy seems really bad when you start playing but soon you'll realise it's the most broken skill in the game lol

Yes im gunna make a comment about the first 60 seconds. Stealth archer builds are boring as hell. I'll admit they're the most powerful and honestly easiest to get rolling, but I'd never call it fun to use. Not when rushing in with 7 spells, 2 shouts, and dream is much more exhilarating

ive easily totaled several thousand hours ours across all releases of this game over the last 12 years and ive never once used the cooking mechanic. ever.

Dose anyone else just love how realistic survival mode is.

Honestly though out my near 11 years of playing Skyrim I can without a doubt say that the only poison that I’ve put on my weapon has been paralysis.

Since I fall into the craftsman build at core+variable my playthroughs are typically tedious.

What is this main quest you speak of?

The best health potion you can make is blue mountain flower, boar tusk, n wheat. Variable bonus, variable temp bonus, for 300 seconds.

I know this video is very old but since when was Stealth Archer more fun than just fighting normally? For me, nothing is more boring and dull than just standing in one spot shooting at enemies over and over. I personally haven't played Stealth Archer since I tried it on my very first character. There's no contest that it's is easily the least enjoyable playstyle in the game.

It's one of the easiest ways to play the game, which is where I think the meme stems from, but this game isn't even that hard anyway so what's the point? You can become obscenely overpowered with literally any build if you level Smithing, Alchemy and Enchanting.

Honestly, if you want to play stealth, playing an actual Assassin who sneaks up to people and slits their throats with daggers is far more enjoyable and engaging than anything the Archery tree can provide.

if you ask me, i use a combo of stealth archery and wlatzing right in with two maces, imo it is best to experience the gameplay cuz magic feels too op or too less op, not balanced.
