Jepang mengandalkan berbagai variasi pukulan dropshot + sergapan pukulan di depan net.

Untuk hindari sergapan2 bola di depan net oleh Jepang, Korea telah berusaha sebisa mungkin tidak membuat bola tanggung dengan cenderung bermain dengan bola2 panjang atau memanjangkan bola ke arah backcourt. Membuat bola2 pendek yg cenderung rendah + pukulan2 smash.

Tapi tetap tidak mudah mengalahkan Jepang, karena Jepang juga miliki defense yg baik.
Korea mungkin perlu mencoba memperbanyak/membuat variasi dengan bola2 silang. Baik bola2 silang pendek maupun panjang (mengarah ke backcourt). Juga perlu mencoba membuat berbagai variasi pukulan dropshot.
