Why is your pre-tax income your property? land and natural resources are not the product of labor. If mixing labor with land made it a product of someone's labor, a tattooed arm would be the product of labor of the tattoo artist. All laws are enforced using force.

In Ludwig Von Mises' book Socialism, he wrote "All ownership derives from occupation and violence. When we consider the natural components of goods, apart from the labour components they contain, and when we follow the legal title back, we must necessarily arrive at a point where this title originated in the appropriation of goods accessible to all. Before that we may encounter a forcible expropriation from a predecessor whose ownership we can in its turn trace to earlier appropriation or robbery."

Amazing video! when my colleagues wonder about my political view, my introduction to them about libertarianism, is with just one phrase of my authorship

"My ideology is based on being able to refuse to fund anyone who keeps failing me."

and if everyone has the right to do it, governments will have more responsibility and more efficiency in serving their payers, a virtue that they will never comply with taxpayers.

If I get robbed...don't get anything back..but with my taxes I DO get things back and I even get things before I even start to pay taxes.
Also by that logic using things payed for by taxes without paying taxes is theft too.

Is taxation theft? Well, if theft is
defined as the forcible removal of one’s property by another, then I guess
taxation would absolutely be theft. I will concede; however, that this isn’t
true for those who willingly pay the taxes toward the state. But then again, a complex
argument can be made to show that supporting a thief is indirectly supporting
the act of theft in the first place. According to the oxford, theft is generally
defined as the action or crime of
stealing. The Merriam-webster notes that this specifically
refers to: the felonious taking
and removing of personal property with intent to deprive the rightful owner of
it. I have encountered many arguments all in favour of
taxation. Some say that the state offers services which are funded by taxes. And
because the state uses the funds acquired “usefully” then taxes should be
regarded as a “good” thing. I have also heard the argument that taxation is the
price we pay for democracy. Another platitude I’ve encountered has been the
most pervasive of all pro-state/ pro-taxation sub-arguments: we are all born,
and we all agree to a social contract. Even from a legal perspective, the
illogicality of this argument presupposes that a contract can be automatically
signed as soon as someone is born. Strange, because it has been legally stipulated
that humans cannot be held contractually obligated until they reach sound mind.
Although there is some grey area surrounding this concept, it basically argues
that children cannot legally be held accountable for some agreements, because
they lack capacity. Contractual
capacity is an individual's faculty to sign binding contracts with other
parties either for himself or on behalf of a third party. This is a blatant contradiction. Social contract theories suggest
that governments are legitimate because we enter into a social contract upon birth.
Yet, the very same government structure states the children under a certain age
cannot be regarded as having contractual capacity (the authority to enter into
legally binding contracts). But the state happily accepts the automatic-permission
derived from a baby immediately after it is born? Weird.

People out here acting like a majority of our taxes go to useful things like roads and hospitals. When in fact, our taxes are going to insane government deficit spending, Syrian refugees, and other garbage. Income taxes, property taxes, goods and services tax, capital gains tax. Are you kidding?

Taxation is theft. Specially property taxes. We send so much money over seas which is garbage. Government spending is out of control. While politicians get richer. Everyone in America should unite and stop paying taxes completely. They can’t take us all. The Boston tea party was all over a 2 percent tax. It’s time to overthrow americas tyrannical government. Biden is a complete failure but the system failed us long ago. We don’t want handouts!! We want to be left alone!

What a. liar. If he wants to end taxation then he should organize a movement to run for office and if they win they can eliminate taxation. If he can't then he's got to go along with the majority who WANT taxation. He doesn't seem to understand what democracy is. What a fool.

FYI, in the US 2% of taxes go to infrastructure. The vast majority goes to programs like social security, healthcare (which still sucks), and the military. Taxes are literally being wasted and the “what about infrastructure” argument is unfounded.

If taxation is theft, then whoever doesnt pay their fair share for the system voluntarily is a thief as well, and i doubt any of the taxation is theft crowd are willing to pay their fair share. Anyways ideally taxation is consented to via the process of voting. By voting you are agreeing to consent to whatever the majority agrees with, because just as you may have your choice ignored if your candidate loses, someone else's choice gets ignored when your candidate wins. You can also apply that logic to laws, you could argue laws are tyrannical if you don't consent to them thus because i believe rape and murder should be legal, the law shouldn't apply to me because i didn't consent to the laws that bar me from raping and murdering people.

Only those who in default of taxes are thieves.
If you are an American (and only an American would consider taxes to be the theft)
Every US citizen has taken the OATH to the Constitution.

"The US Constitution

"Article I, Section 8, Clause 1:

The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defence and general Welfare of the United States; but all Duties, Imposts and Excises shall be uniform throughout the United States; . . .

Article I, Section 8, Clause 1 of the Constitution provides Congress with broad authority to lay and collect taxes for federal debts, the common defense, and the general welfare.1 By the Constitution’s terms, the power of Congress to levy taxes is subject to but one exception and only two qualifications.2 Articles exported from any state may not be taxed at all,3 direct taxes must be levied by the rule of apportionment,4 and indirect taxes by the rule of uniformity.5 The Supreme Court has emphasized the sweeping character of this power by saying from time to time that it reaches every subject,6 that it is exhaustive7 or that it embraces every conceivable power of taxation.8 Despite few express limitations on the taxing power, the scope of Congress’s taxing power has been at times substantially curtailed by judicial decisions with respect to the manner in which taxes are imposed,9 the objects for which they may be levied,10 and the subject matter of taxation.11"?"

No one asked you to choose to make a monetary gain. When you do choose to make such a gain it's YOU that's aggressing on an infrastructure that's required so you'd be able to even make such an monetary gain. When you choose to take advantage from said infrastructure to make such a gain then tell the servicer (the gov't) to go to hell then it's YOU that's advocating for theft of services. Can I walk into a store and tell the shop keep to piss off when it comes time to pay for their goods/services? No, and neither should anyone say that to a gov't providing services to that makes your monetary gains even possible... Where do you think all the infrastructure comes from, the sky?
