I just don't get why there isn't a high budgeted Noir themed movie with it's story centered in Addis Ababa with Mulatu Astatke's great music as soundtracks, Directed by Haile Gerima, and written by Yismake Worku. It would make a legendary movie.

This music reminds me of lunch time with my family growing up. Both of my parents would come home from lunch for all us to have a meal together , this classical with coffee for them afterwards while we play in the Veranda with my brothers ( with the music as background to our play) and back to work for my parents while we take a nap. Music reminds one of a chapter of life, such memorable times and such exquisite work by the legendary Mulatu Astatke. Found this on you tube and play it ( on speaker) for my 6 year old while she does Art on the dining table during quarantine. Our music will be ingrained in her psyche just like it did on mine :)) Long live Ethiopia. We love you Gash Mulatu!
