ОтветитьI have always sharpened drill bits by hand but the smaller ones get trickier with age. My little trick to test it will cut alright is i put it in the palm of my hand and turn it you can feel if you have done it right as it bites in. Last place i worked at with hundreds of employees noone really knew how to sharpen a drill someone would be drilling holes with a blunt drill and i would say i will go sharpen it and they were amazed when they saw the chips coming out after i had sharpened it. Most of the time they just get another drill bit from the store.
ОтветитьExelente idea
Ответить59 degrees I was taught
ОтветитьOr you can buy The Drill Doctor, sharpens any size bit in seconds.
ОтветитьAn old farmer taught me this trick: Press the drill bit cutting point with both hands at its 60 degree angel against a running emery wheel. As it makes contact, move the opposite end of the bit upwards, so that your upward movement ends where the emery wheel sharpens the cutting edge for a moment or two. Repeat this movement until the one wing's cutting edge is sharp. Now repeat this movement with the other wing.
Ответить6min video for a 2min how to..😂😂😂😂
ОтветитьAs a retired tool and die maker, this video is pretty painful to watch. A shop mechanic needs to learn how to sharpen drill bits properly by hand. It takes about 15 seconds to sharpen a drill bit such as the one in this video.
ОтветитьThanks.
ОтветитьI AM FROM PLANET Z
ОтветитьNOT GOOD
EXCELLENT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good luck to have the point in the center ! Ridiculous
Ответитьthis shoe maker has no clue hes cluless yes no clu ,, im a tool grinder the drill bit has no heal so the cutting edge should hav a heal we call helex,, so the chips go away and not heat up the f drill
ОтветитьEspaña 👍👍👍
ОтветитьI’ve been doing it by hand for years, and it beats out any kind of method. When I drill into metal, I get one single strand.
ОтветитьThe drill bit depicted here doesn't appear to be designed to drill steel. The end angle is far too steep.
ОтветитьGREECE THESALONIKI!!!!!!!!!!!
ОтветитьA me mi pare una cazzata.
Ответитьi sharpened my drill bits in the job shop and the foreman told me it weakened the heel of the point ,ill tell you i thought of this on my own sharpist bits ever anything under 1"
ОтветитьGrinder in the bench vice? That’s ballsy, ngl.

ОтветитьDesde Risaralda Colombia me qusto mucho es fácil
ОтветитьYeah, as a ex-machinist it will work, but your flat spotting the surface which will tend to lead to the drill bit edge chipping.
