Good video I’ve got to agree with you on the wind protection. I also will agree with you on the premium motorcycle. Stelvio is down on horsepower. Also, it’s only a little bit more than the Suzuki V Strom 1050 on horsepower. it would be nice if it had a quick shifter even the Suzuki V Strom has that now that is the 1050. Enjoying your Sensi humor made me laugh.

ALSO what is different is the price man. Way cheaper for that Stelvio.

I currently own both the Ducati Multistrada V4s, and the Stelvio. Hands down I prefer the Stelvio, the Duc will be going up for sale soon. Bravo Moto Guzzi!!

Great video Scott,
It seems the Stelvio even being a new bike with new motor and suspension still needs some refinement to catch up with the other boys..AT, VStrom, GS, Explorer etc...

Thanks. You present very well. I was really hoping to be a Guzzi owner for the 1st time. I personally didn't have a good manufacturer and dealer experience so decided to go for the GS (1250) which I love. A shame in a way as the Stelvio looks good and that engine is certainly proving itself.

Great review, thanks - nice to see one that's not from the recent launch in Spain! I have a '22 V85TT and love it - traded up from a V7iii with no regrets. I have no issues with the smaller display, I think it's 4.3"? All the info I need, very readable and I like the layout - I have pretty bad presbyopia and have no problem reading it without glasses. The only reason I'd like a larger display would be to integrate the warning lights around the small one, but that's really a nitpick. In response to another comment, the '24 V85 has some major changes: the new display and variable valve timing to name just 2.

It's a beautiful machine, but it's 80lb heavier, gets 10mpg less, and costs twice what I paid for my V7iii.

The design, especially from the side is wicked! Love it! So happy now that MG is making the effort to be at least a little more competitive and up to date in their own way. Their brand and history is a big seller for me. Now they need to work on making their V7 a little bigger. Dislike the spindly front suspension and tire they have on that thing. That said Im a sucker for a transverse twin. Just get a real kick out of being able to see the motor like you do when youre sitting on one.

BMW GS seems grotesque and absurdly large. Stelvio is just right and a great value. The right bike for independent thinkers. Guzzi has soul.

I had the old Stelvio for a couple of years and it turned into love/hate relationship. Fabulous bike to ride and a beautiful layout. But parts are stupidly expensive and hard to get hold of. It's Piaggio owned, so serviced at scooter shops by scooter mechanics. The camshafts turned into chocolate in literally one day and gave me a £2500 bill. And MG are notorious for their bad warranty. This new one looks gorgeous and I would be in the market for one if it wasn't for the issues I had with the old one.

Guzzi made another step ahead with the Stelvio after the V100. Cant wait to try it. Great review, as always. I am not really into all that tech, so... for me it is just right that they do not offer the electronic suspension and some bigger TFT screens, but OK, some may want that. Thumbs up. Cheers.

Started riding in 1969 , without all the electronics. Never broke down because of all the gadgets. And never would have thought about extended warranty ever if it was available. Like I did on my 22 AT DCT ADVENTURE ES. But i would still love to own a MG.
GREAT REVIEW
THANKS

I ride the 1200 V8 version of the Stelvio. It's a special machine. Far from perfect but oozes with character. It's a little rough around the edges, but then it doesn't cost near as much as a GS. After owning a Moto Guzzi I find it so difficult to enjoy other bikes, including the big GS (and I've had two GSs). They're all so freaking boring, clinical, unemotional. The 1250GS left me completely cold after riding it. Yeah, it's a perfect bike in most regards, but so damn boring. I found myseld saying if I never ride it again, I'm just fine. And that's not something I want to say about a bike I own. Thinking of getting the new Stelvio or maybe the Africa Twin, as they're both gorgeous, while the new GS is one ugly duck! Not to mention a 10 grand premium, which is insane. My Stelvio has 105hp and I never needed more, even two up, fully loaded. I don't want a bike with 150hp. I like my licence and my life. A nice review!

Thats why we keep buying them.

I've always said, don't compare a Moto Guzzi with any other bike, it's a Moto Guzzi.
Plus ,I wouldn't want to pay extra for something I can easily do by hand, if you know how to set suspension electronic is just a lazy unnecessary expense, bike are already getting ridiculously expensive without the added costs of 'trick bling'.

Very good review! I would NEVER buy a bike with radar controlled cruise control--why in the world would anyone want to base their bike speed on the car in front of them? Have it on my car (Honda--all all models have this) and I hate it with a passion! I will not keep that Honda for that very reason--motorcycles do not need electronics controlling their movements--very dangerous in my opinion.

Dash screen size should be diopter-dependent, I guess? 5in +/- 1in per D.
Or just wear glasses/lenses/lasic, as per the road rules.

Scott, you are the second reviewer I watched who giggles like a kid at every twist of the throttle. That alone is motivation to check out the Stelvio.
I had the same impression about the small display on the V100. I hope a bigger one doesn't come tied with expensive version.
I am wondering what you think of the radar equipped Stelvio.
