Bro what you say is what barely happens, i have been using mine for about 2 years and i have no issue whatsoever.....its still like new perfectly fine analogs, very sure fitted.....

and i don't even think that my dualshock 4 analog even has a cheap rubber coating like that...

I had one of my ps4 controllers for 6 years still in outstanding condition

my older ps4 was worn down whenever i was doing the arm wrestling minigame on gta 5. but i got the ps4 pro, and the controller looks better, and feels better, but the joysticks feel more slippery, my hands usually get sweaty, but my hands weren't even moist!

Had a ps4 controller same one that came with console it’s still fine.

Shake it, take it apart check the buttons, it might be a fake.

I have had the same controller since 2015 and it has not broke or grind or anything me confused

My uncles old controller is horrible the thumb grip is slimy and weard off and the grip from the back of controller is slimy too.

He talks with such little emotion in his voice compared to him now.

My controller it had nothing on it until I saw thumb sticks I try them on and I love the grip on them I got a trip for the handle

I had glue on the motherboard of left stick on 1 v2 controller (new from manufacture) + the other 2 v2 controllers had stick drift already when new from manufacture
Summary: All v2 controller for PS4 made by SONY suck

I still have my ps4 controler from when it first came out in 2016 it still works perfecly fine like you must be raging bro cause controller's don`t just do that

My V1 controller has a clicking noise when I rotate the left analog stick around…idky though.

My Xbox thumb grips are dust now
