Senior Mountain Bikers - Piedmont Trails, Duluth, MN

Mountain biking in your sixties can make you a little cautious at times! I do like the rush and thrill of speed and doing what might sometimes be considered stupid things on a mountain bike. I wasn't sure where we were riding today so I just threw my Ibis Exie in the van as it's typically. my go to bike anyhow. We ended up rolling around Piedmont and Brewer where the Exie works on a lot of the trails but I usually prefer my Reeb for the extra squish. There's a drop on the Home Brew Loop that I've been wanting to hit and Jim and I were checking it out when Byron rolled up. With some cheering on, he hit the drop and nailed it about three times. A nice job for 66 years old! My turn next! I'll most likely head back up there this weekend and give it a go on my Reeb. If you ever get up to Duluth, MN, I would highly recommend the Piedmont trails and specifically the Home Brew Loop. Probably not best for a beginner as there are some technical sections but it's a fun trail with some great views on the East side. I appreciate you riding along with us today.
