Now I know where to start with the project. Thank you
ОтветитьThank you for teaching us something simple that alot of us may not know how to do!
Is it better to start with the floor or the walls first when it comes to bad wood?
Thank you😊
ОтветитьGreat explanation! Thank you!
ОтветитьShowed this to my Green Architecture 7th grade class as they are going to build a model. You did an excellent job of explaining/modeling to where they could understand! Thanks
ОтветитьGreat Video!
ОтветитьThank you
ОтветитьWe’ll explained thanks
ОтветитьOr you can take the total and multiply by 1.1 to get the amount of flooring you need.
ОтветитьWorthy video
ОтветитьIm glad i dident hire him
ОтветитьThanks man i had a contractor measure my room is 11×16 he said that was 220 foot i i knew something was off cause he dident measure it like you instead he did corner to corners long ways
ОтветитьYou don’t need to add the 0 for the 10% so for example 148x0.1=the 14.8 sq ft extra you would need. Now on a huge job you would only add 5%let’s say 5k-10k sq ft 5% is more then enough on that size job depending on the material
ОтветитьSo beautifully described😻😻. Thank you so much
ОтветитьGood teacher! New subscriber.
ОтветитьI have a 130/119 how many boxes of hardwood flooring will I need
ОтветитьI added your video to my playlist. Thanks for doing such a great job! I offer a kitchen and bath planning guide in case you're interested!
ОтветитьYep thanks a lot. This was a big help. I also had to step on my tape measure to keep from it moving in my large rooms. No doubt cheap tape measure 🤔🙂.
ОтветитьThank you! This made it so easy!
Ответитьomg im measuring my floor and took the big number (i.e the inches not the feet ) lol that embarrassing
ОтветитьThank you so much. I have a few boxes to redo after watching this video
ОтветитьOr multiple your number by 1.1 and then u dont have to add at the end
ОтветитьGood video and cool dog
ОтветитьUgh math 🙄 but still a very helpful video. Plan to measure our living room tonight!
Ответитьfrom there how do determine how many boxes you need
ОтветитьI'm changing my bathroom flooring for the first time since I'm living on my own. This helped a lot. Much appreciated. Definitely subscribing. Good luck to you in the future.
ОтветитьThank you guy for your simplicity!
ОтветитьThank you so much for this video and information. I'm training to sell, and of course, measure out , flooring and how much a client needs in their space. TY. New subscriber. MHD
ОтветитьSo would it be different in roofing? I get the sq ft count and multipy by 100 to get sq count
ОтветитьThat was great dude!! Thx for this video!!!
ОтветитьI’m measuring my mom’s bedroom (no closet). It’s literally a square with no cuts, do I still need to add the 10%? It would be linoleum. Thank you!
ОтветитьThank you so much 🙏
ОтветитьGetting ready to put down new vinyl plank flooring in our house. Had a good idea of what to do but never hurts to make sure you do it right.
ОтветитьThat was made easy thank you
ОтветитьThe easiest way to calculate 10 percent is using a simple method and yes un high they taught this method alot of students not paying attention
148 × 1.10 = 162.8
Thank you so much for sharing your video.
ОтветитьGood but tell to people in metter square
ОтветитьHow much I need for 4×4 room.. Same tiling you have there
ОтветитьIm a flooring installer and i couldn't have explained it any better. 👍
ОтветитьMan this helped a lot!!! Sucks not being raised with a dad, I lost out on a lot of info compared to others
ОтветитьOr 148 × 1.1 😆
Ответить😳😳😳
ОтветитьTo add 10% just multiply by 1.1
ОтветитьLove it thanks!
ОтветитьThanks....great video
ОтветитьI was going to buy some vinyl flooring but they only sale it in linear footage. I understand all about sq ft. So if I have 1 room that is 12 X 10, 2nd room 15 X 14 & 3rd room 15 X 15, the roll only comes 12’ wide. Is it going to be 1st room 10’ linear, 2nd room 24’ linear & 3rd room 24’, being totally of 60’ linear? Seems like so much extra? Confusing. I’ve measured linear ft for crown molding, baseboards, etc..., but never area space!!!! Have you ever heard of this?
ОтветитьThank you for the info, very useful especially the extra 10%. Never thought about that. 👍 👍 👍
ОтветитьDude just take your square footage add 10% on the calculator.. your way is confusing. 148 +10%= 162.8
ОтветитьAwesome Thank you. I always wondered why they chopped up the measuring of a room.
