The 5 Widths of death
ОтветитьBest time of my life during late seventies a true band of brothers Per Ardua
ОтветитьI will join soon. Can't wait to be part of the RAF family.
ОтветитьHahahaaaa! The infamous 5 miler of death!
ОтветитьIn my day OASC was at Biggin Hill, three and a half days and there were no fitness tests !
ОтветитьIts, not it's
ОтветитьI'm i supposed to arrive in suit to Honington or is smartly dress etc polo shirt and suit trousers acceptable ?
ОтветитьIs the MSFT now included in the PGSC ?
ОтветитьHi guys, I’m an applicant in the process of joining the Royal Air Force as a Reg Gunner.
I’ll be covering the entire application process on my channel, which may interest some of you.
I posted my first video regarding the DAA on Saturday.
Please let me know if it was helpful, thank you.
I'm in the process of applying for an apprenticeship in the RAF as a regiment gunner. I am honestly very nervous about it, as I don’t really see myself as very fit despite trying to maintain a healthy diet and exercise. Is there any advice you can give to ease any worries
ОтветитьQuite frankly I'm surprised that the RAF Regiment hasn't been disbanded it must be on senior thought processes and in LTCs.
ОтветитьI have my PGSC tomorrow. Are we expected to turn up in a suit or just to be smart and presentable?
ОтветитьCould anyone tell me if this is different for the Reserves or is it the exact same fitness tests? The website is unclear. Any info appreciated
ОтветитьJust a point, why are the female requirements less than the men's? Being that women are always shouting how they are the equal of men why do they get an easier standard to pass? Oh I forgot, it's ok because only men, and in particular white men, can be discriminated against because of sex and colour. White males should not join the military anymore, let the women and BAME do the fighting.
ОтветитьNot one mention about the 5 miles of death 🤣
ОтветитьHello. My name is Samden and I am from India. If you could kindly help me with my doubt as I was going through online application:
"Following the MOD announcement that the UK Armed Forces will now be able to recruit commonwealth citizens without the 5 year residency requirement, please note that the RAF continues to apply standard residency requirements for security clearance, ie, DV employment requires 7-years UK residency immediately prior to enlistment; SC requires 3-years."
1. As I was going through online application, can you explain me above paragraph? What does DV and SC stand for?
2. In the above paragraph it says commonwealth citizens doesn't need 5 years residency requirement. Could you explain please?
3. Is there any alternate ways where I don't have to stay for 3 years and join the force, I am 37 years old and I am ageing day by day and it will be really difficult to apply for different post.
4. Till which age I can apply for different post?
5. If I do get through Royal Air Force, how long can I serve and what is the age for retirement?
6. Is there any criteria for heights?
I am really sorry to ask so many questions. Wish I could call directly but long distance calls from here is very expensive and the network is really bad.
Changed a bit huh? I guess it’s not 1979 any more. Do you have to use the dozy hand grip on the SA80? What’s the sniper rifle used now? What is the sniper ratio now?
ОтветитьReally a selection for snagging on the naffi geeez
ОтветитьIn this video, it says you need to do a 2km run in under 9 minutes 30 seconds, but i have read online and have been told it’s 5 minutes. Has the time requirements changed or is 9 minutes 30 seconds still correct ?
ОтветитьShould be the same standard regardless of gender all doing the same job. It's 2022
ОтветитьAll this to be laughed at by the Army as lightweight. I think they are wrong but this opinion is entrenched and not helped by the rest of the RAF considering "Rock Apes" as thick and useless.
ОтветитьI have a few questions regarding the swim test…
1) is the swim timed? If so what is the time to aim for?
2) Is there a particular swim stroke that you have to perform?
Just passed me interview i was just wondering 1 place is sayin its a 1.5 mile run and another place is sayin its 1.2
Ответить2km in 9 and half minutes 😂😂😂😂 medicine ball throw 😂 lizards
ОтветитьI don't know much about RAF Regiment. How do they fair against The Paras and The Royal Marines? I'm 62 and could do the physical minimum.
ОтветитьDo you still put your recruits through the five miler of death? Seems almost inhumane
Ответить2 minutes treading water with no gear 🤣🤣🤣
ОтветитьMy last year in college for aero engineering and I emailed them and found out I’m able to apply to be a pilot at the end of my course. All I got to do is work hard on my fitness
ОтветитьWhy are there still different fitness requirements for men and women, who are going for the same job at the same pay rate?
Surely this is discriminatory towards any man applying and to those currently serving??
Aw this is cute!
ОтветитьRAF Recruitment when will you be accepting officer applications for the Regiment again?
ОтветитьMy application went in yesterday
ОтветитьRAF Recruitment I am getting my date for my PGSC tomorrow (20/08/2021)and I haven't done my interview yet will I be doing one when I do my PGSC or will it be a debrief where I get asked questions and I can ask questions?
ОтветитьCan someone tell me why it says 4 metres for the med ball but on website it says 3.1 metres like what do we need to get
ОтветитьIt's all just a bit gay. Army light. Like those who wished they had the balls to join the Army, but don't so they join the rock apes. The physical standards are pretty damned low. And the disgusting fat bodies standing on the side of the pool are testament to the standard of applicant. You wouldn't see that in the Infantry.
ОтветитьEx Army, I want to join the 2 Para squadron
ОтветитьIs the swimming test to find the best life guards for the hotel pool ?
ОтветитьLooking to join RAF reg or Parachute regiment 🇬🇧
ОтветитьHow often do you do the fitness tests?
ОтветитьWhat do they ask in the interview?? How will i prepare for it?? Is it important?? because that's the scariest part for me but the other test are fine
ОтветитьThey bus them in from the Salvation Army selection, it's the last chance for those that didn't make the Brass Band.
Ответить😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
ОтветитьDo you have to know how to swim to join?
ОтветитьThen...before you know it your in Iraq 6 months later staggin on like a wanka
ОтветитьDo reserves go though this exact pgsc?
Ответитьi literally just sent my application out 15 minutes ago for, medic, firefighter and this. scary!
Ответить10 press ups for women. So glad i left this shit show.
ОтветитьWhat sort of questions are asked in the officer interview? Is it important to have knowledge of all the training in detail and the different squadrons? I am learning it all at the moment but it's the part I'm most nervous about. I passed OASC but that was only a 12 minute interview.
ОтветитьRecruiter : Can you shape your beret like a cow pat on your head?
Civi : yes
Recruiter : you’re in!
