IS this loud enough to play with a drummer. I don't much anymore but was tired of lugging around my 6505+..also want something that i can sit next to my computer desk.
Ответить😂sir how to improve the sound of peavey vypyr x2 there are options that I could ignore thanks😊
ОтветитьHey man, I bought this Amp. I've never had an amp with both a pre-gain and a post-gain control. Can you explain those controls and what they do? I'm really looking to get the cleanest possible sound so if you can advise me on how to use pre-gain and post-gain. Thanks
Ответитьty Ola. Bought the Vyper X2 after seeing your video . Very happy with the sounds. Especially after going through 2 amps to try to get that metal sound. Btw great music on your channel!
Ответитьmine just sounds better with headphones on and i dont understand why
ОтветитьWas so disappointed. Got a new vypyr x1 for $150. It arrived yesterday and the damn magnet was broken from the speaker!!!! Couldn't find another under $200. Ended up ordering a Fender LT25
ОтветитьDoes anybody know if it does have an adjustable gate on it?
Ответитьso glad i found this channel
ОтветитьRandall Diablo RD1C (8" combo) VS this Peavey vypyr X1. Any thoughts?
ОтветитьThe betcha the X3 aounds great, especially if you plug it into a 412.
ОтветитьProbably gotta break that speaker in like a new set of strings.
ОтветитьPeavey Vypyr X3, 12" speaker at 100watts for $399.00 which is a killer deal for what you get. You can use bass guitars on it, and it actually sounds good. I don't know how these amps aren't in a discussion when folks are recommending or mentioning great studio/casual amps.
ОтветитьPsssst ola … peavy valve king :)
ОтветитьMan I just have never heard a speaker smaller than 10" that I didn't hate.
ОтветитьPeaveys chug. Its just that simple.
ОтветитьWhen i Start playing guitar in 1982 i was poor ! could not Buy a Marshall and Buy Peavey for the métal hard rock sound and the Peavey X1 is good for électric guitar ,good for bass ,and acoustic guitar ,for praticicing at home! Plug and Play !
ОтветитьLook for a Peavy bandit 65 tube amp. It's a excellent amp had one in the 80s. It screams 💯💪
ОтветитьMan I’m hoping this works for a at home performance it sounds Riley nice I’m actually excited to buy this grate video man
ОтветитьYou can adjust the gate but you have to plug the amp into your computer via usb and use their tone editing software.
ОтветитьHi questilon why this amps can be use on live gig? i mean de x2 and x3 can?
thanks
Wow I have the mustang 4 and like you said it’s not “metal” enough and have also own the line 6 spyder 2 & 3 and it was a step above to fender but this sounds great for what it is!!!!
ОтветитьTHATS HOW TO USE THA EDIT MODE 🤦♂️
ОтветитьI have the, line 6 does have a lot of presets but tempted by this for metal sounds cool review.
ОтветитьThis thing does my 6505 justice I think. This will be a fine addition to drag to the inlaws for christmas and ruin it with metal.
ОтветитьI own the old version of this model the vypyr vip 3 of one hundred watts of power, nice to know Peavey electronics gave an upgrade to this amplifier, I use to play bass guitar through it.
ОтветитьYou tested that shit already!!!
ОтветитьWhat are the strings tuned on the guitar?
ОтветитьWould the boss katana win over this for metal with just both stock setups with no pedals?
ОтветитьThis guy is hilarious and should be on SNL with those 2 wild and crazy Slovakian guys and play his guitar with them dancing, would love hanging out with him and laugh, although would probably have to get cpr from the fear of catching my breath from overlaugh fate
ОтветитьConsidering the price and 10 inch speaker it barks pretty darned good. It's not trying to take a Boogie or Deizel to school. But that would be asking an awful lot for the price and size. Peavey has always been solid.
Ответитьwhat about using the usb for line out recording??
ОтветитьThat "eugh" sound after you cut off the chug, could that be strings ringing behind the nut?
ОтветитьOk am I doing something wrong with mine? I just opened up my x2 and all the tones are straight trash, not enough gain. Sounds like AC/DC tone, not the heavy tone I’m going for!
ОтветитьSounds like the speaker gave up the ghost..
ОтветитьGreat summation, the others? They sound great, just not for metal... So multi-feature paperweights then?
Still have my VIP1 and I love it. I know there are better ones, but for practice in general, it sounds better than the Spark (though the Spark has its moments).
This doesn't sound that good, but it is likely due to the speaker as mentioned. It sounded better with some reverb.
ОтветитьSo this amp or the boss katana for beginning metal? Gotta choose one. Which one?
ОтветитьThis or the Zombie II ?
Ответитьi cant even get this sound. im using an ibanez if that helps
ОтветитьI might get this as a practice amp
ОтветитьSweet water finally got these amps back in stock. After a year and a half of waiting the x3 will be on my doorstep today. Hope it blows the x1 out of the water and doesn’t have that boxed in sound you were talking about
ОтветитьThat weird synth effect that suddenly popped up was perhaps the "Emerson Lake and Palmer" preset.
ОтветитьSeriously laughed out loud at the first weird effect, the face was awesome 🤣
ОтветитьSome of my first amps were Peavy and never had a issue with them. They were great for metal. I owned Marshall and never cared for the brown noise. I have a Mesa Stiletto Trident and best amp I have ever owned. Through a Mesa 4 speaker cab it cranks.
ОтветитьBoss Katana has to be the best. You can dial in any tone you want from any metal album. If you buy one of them as a beginner, you haven't got to work out how to dial in tones yourself straight away because there's loads of patches out there to download.
If you're just using it to practice at home you'll never really need to upgrade it either.
I've been playing for 20 years and I love my Katana 2.
The user accessibility is much better with the pedal (which wasn’t included. I got both for around $260).
ОтветитьBut the question is, can it run Crysis?
ОтветитьI'm curious what difference a 6 band eq would make? I own one been tempted to buy a mxr 6 band
