This is a comparison of The Witcher 3 switch version with it's newest patch 3.6 at max settings which improved the graphics a lot versus the pc version at ultra settings in 1080p.
PS: For the peeps saying that the pc version is modded, it had mods before I made the video, I uninstalled them, the only thing that I forgot about is that blue tint which is caused by reshade, I recognized it afterwards, but the real question is, does it really make the game better looking? I don’t think so, it’s personal preference.

I just see the Switch graphics more lively for some reason. Less sharp. But the world looks more lively. 😅

I love the switch, I used to “defend” it cause the whole Idea of portable handheld + docked to tv is just my way to go, but if you don’t take it too seriously and don’t take it to your heart cause it’s literally just video games, It is actually really funny😂 Switch literally take all the trees and environment textures to look minecraft like 30 fps and the graphics take a huge hit 🤺 It’s really funny, I played through The Witcher 3 in both including all DLC to 100% so I love the game on both PC or Switch… but damn hopefully they can pull off this magic on Hogwarts Legacy but It’s an 8 year difference in terms of hardware and tech between those games so let’s see😅🥰

The downgrade was expected. What wasn't expected was getting this entire game to run as smoothly as it does. Totally viable option on the Switch.

... maybe they should get the switch port devs to fix the next gen console update... give some options to get a solid framerate.... LIKE WE DID, before the update

though i commend getting this running like they did on switch is a marvel... its very hard to play it if you played any other version... but... if you havent... you will enjoy it still

If u play switch version handheld it won't be bad at all, it's good ..
But on TV or monitor dock it really looks bad ..

maybe one day nintendo will have a powerful console so they can be on top again like they were in the back in the day but from what i herd its not important to nintendo so idk we will see

Obviously the PC version looks better, but the Switch version doesn't look bad. If anything it appears to be almost stylized.

Brought this in the recent Nintendo sale, best £25 spent. Anyone who is thinking about getting it should, you will not be disappointed.

It's all on the cart minus updates which is insane. Also why does the Switch hair look bouncier/better? Lol

Maybe I'm just old, but graphics aren't that big a deal to me anymore. I was blown away by 3d triangles running at 15fps in the original Star Fox. Sure the PC version looks outstanding, but the Switch version is hardly ugly, and it's a great game that I can play on the go. I'm a truck driver, so having these games on Switch is a blessing. I likely wouldn't get to experience them otherwise.

I have Witcher 3 and All its DLC in My Gaming MSI
I bought the complete edition physical copy for Switch cuz this port is phenomenal. Also the Switch graphics settings kinda have something warm and fuzzy about it that I like. Play vert well as well.
