UPDATE - YES you can get VRR from the PS5, you just need to set the resoltuion to 4K on the console (which the monitor accepts).

Hi is it possible for you to make a best settings update video or should i just use deafult settings and just put energy savings off out of the box?
Update: i returned the monitor due to auto brightness issue and too dark for my liking

getting this until a 27 inch, 4k @240hz monitor is released its the best option

I have a 55 inch OLED LG CS for the PS5 and Series X.

Its a shame OLED monitors cost more than 4K OLED TV's. I picked up my TV for £728.99...

Surely a 27 inch monitor would cost LG less.

This is why the OLED monitor space needs more competition to drive the prices down and innovate.

My TV does, 4K, VRR, ULL, Dolby, HDR, Dolby Vision...But monitors, unless you buy an OLED TV, with OLED are a luxury that lack many features we should get in 2023.

I currently have the alinware aw2721d 2k 240hz ips monitor - and I bought the lg 27 oled from your video - to be able to play warzone I won't have problems- do you know if the brightness of the monitor has improved with the latest firmware - the monitor will arrive soon, I bought it from Amazon us since I am from Chile and it would be my first oled monitor for games

I am always disappointed when they try to shove 4k into the 27 inch.. Like are they crazy. The DPI or PPI increase isnt much noticeable over QHD but costs you a lot more performance for little to no benefit, pretty much just like the overhyped rtx garbage what is essentially a reflections 2.0 engine for which you pay extra, a big extra.

Why couldn't they ditch the 240hz and give us a solid 144hz 4K OLED for 1K. I could care less about 240hz.

Hey chris, should i keep the inzone m9 or get this one instead?? Ive had some issues with the m9.. im torn since the m9 has the 4K resolution and the LG only has 1440 p. Plz help lol

@SpawnPoiint - Having used both this monitor and the LG 27GP950, which would you choose for Xbox Series X/PS5 gaming? I know for some 1440p versus 4K at 27 inches might be negligible but would you choose this monitor over the 27GP950?
