There are no engine sound... Where is the pleasure, where is the soul of this car?
Driving it, it's like eating a vegan steak, you try to persuade yourself it's great but in the end, everyone know it's just crap.
One question: Can you please build me an EV Bug - same as yours - and ship it to me in Australia ?
ОтветитьSo boring
ОтветитьBrilliant little Beetle! Leaves every Porsche behind except maybe one of your conversions 🙂
ОтветитьReally neat. This car looks inredibly clean and well done. I'd love to see one of theses with a full pan redone with a full size battery, (plus some extra cells), for 400 mile range.
ОтветитьYou're english why are you using miles instead of kilometres?
Ответитьfab looking beetle ! i think silver or gold wheels would look nicer imo
ОтветитьWow It's Amazing 🥰
ОтветитьWOW!!!
ОтветитьWhat a sharp Beetle! Very nice work Bruv! ❤❤
ОтветитьI found this video you uploaded about a year ago and was blown away. So much so I had to find it again so I could share it with a friend of mine. Thanks for showing us your handy-work. All my best to you and your family.

As a freshman in college I didn't have a car and travelled between there and home with friends who did. Enter Peggy Mitchell and her 70-something Beetle. The car was stuffed with two in the front and three in the back for the 120 mile drive. If Peggy had this car the trip would have been a bit quicker and a lot more fun. She would have been down with that ride for sure man, it's groovy y'all
ОтветитьLG Chem 😮🔥🔥
ОтветитьIf by the “baddest Beetle” you mean “the worst Beetle.” This build is just despicable. Whoever done up this Bug must’ve had too many cans of Stella.
I’m sick of hoonigans ruining classic cars. We need more purists.
You Brits really go out of your way to ruin a Beetle.
Ответитьare you going to sell cars in the USA?
ОтветитьDo a Moggy Minor. Please do a Moggy Minor. 😂
ОтветитьRichard an amazing job on this bug.If you ever think of selling i would be very interested.cheers ken
ОтветитьExcellent craftmanship man :D. I like the kind of style of look you gave the Bug. The changes you made to the car are pretty standard for the Hot Rod crowd. Glad to see you did your homework. Well done, well done.
ОтветитьHow about retrofitting the Tesla battery & motors to a classic Bentley or Rolls Royce, now that would be more fun to drive and would also fetch a better resale value.
ОтветитьBeautiful
Ответитьit seems good, but combustion engines are better
ОтветитьWhat an awesome bug....... Just a query.... did you use standard headlight brrckets for the LED's or have to modify to fitt them.... I'm looking to fit them to my 70 german CKD aust delivered beetle.....Again great car
ОтветитьVW Plaid!!😅😅😅
Ответитьit's is my impression or the front of car in acceleration was much higher than the rear of the car?😲
ОтветитьPretty sure when Uncle Ben said that line he was talking about brakes on an electric VW Beetle too.🤣
ОтветитьWhy not ? Elon aught to by the vw chassis work to make ev all the where to is there just add power
ОтветитьI'd lose the bumpers altogether.
Love the work you guys do, great stuff.
Do you sell this Conversion Kit too?
ОтветитьNoblesse Oblige…gorgeous car
ОтветитьHOW does one get the drivetrain and all the rest for a particular car? Has Tesla engineered kits for whatever a person drives? One last thing: you have the same kind of reactions as my other favorite British / Englishman, Richard Hammond! Love it!
ОтветитьI would love to own this, so jealous
ОтветитьIt's sweet. I have a Porsche I kinda want to covert. Is there anyone converting cars, but still using a manual? Just would be great to retain that feature even if it's not needed. Would be as close to the real experience as possible and plus it's so much fun to drive a sports car with a manual. Lots of tricks, double clutching, etc..
ОтветитьBoring question perhaps, but driving normally on the road what sort of range might you expect?
ОтветитьBuild me one please!
Ответить⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Ответить"I built a monster....its so mental!" with that gleeful expression....😀...so satisfying!
ОтветитьYou've actually got 1600 cc bugs that get into 9 seconds...
ОтветитьI want one.
ОтветитьI’ve been driving my 1302 for 41 years now and it puts a smile on my face every time I drive it. Now that I’m old and retired I’m a little over the noise and smells. What you have done and archived with your beetle is just mind blowing, it’s a credit to your hard work and engineering skills. Well done on an amazing car/build. I know you will enjoy your beetle for as long as I have with mine. I also know what I would do to my beetle if I could. Great video thanks.
ОтветитьSi tienes para comprar un kit tesla.... Mejor un tesla completo.
ОтветитьКруто, вот типерь можно те всё машини которые уже зделали всё марки производителей и они стоят как океана ржавеют под открытым небом не проданы ни кому, переделать на электронную и продать дешевле будит круто😎
Ответитьnice bruh ba you needed a drone to shoot that footage ...secondly the interior of the car needs some touch screens to make it more modern...kindly consider my request cheers
Ответить3.2 til 60, i think when you properly tune it you'll a quicker times
ОтветитьHow much does it cost to built a electric (TESLA) volkwagon beetle. I'm thinking a 71 super beetle which is what I had as a teenager.
ОтветитьLove it !!! I need 😢the conversion kit
ОтветитьI will keep my viper GTS. Close enough numbers and will take it on any 500 mile race.
ОтветитьWhat’s the max speed on this ?
Ответитьdamn, looks like a lotta fun! search "8 second sleepers". there's a 1953 green chevy belaire here in america that looks like something my grandmother would've driven. but it's a monster!
