I've been using one of those mini altoid tins to carry Tylenol and benadryl for years.
ОтветитьYou managed to get a load of important,
& useful stuff in there!
Keep smiling!
Love the real good supplies also put some fish hooks and line may we have enough room 😅
ОтветитьVery nice, usable kit. Thank you.
ОтветитьGreat ideas.
ОтветитьVery cool
ОтветитьDo you think a p-38 can opener would fit? 1 1/2” inch. Would be nice to open a can or just to puncture metal and not ruin your small blade.
ОтветитьCould you do a video of you surviving only using this for 24 hours
ОтветитьHi from the UK. Excellent video. So many of us that are interested in this are always considering how far we can scale down a practical survival kit. This has set a new standard.
ОтветитьI dont see the purpose of them, you will swap them everytime you change clothes? I have all of those in the EDC i never go out without, aka wallet phone and home keys. and those are into my jeans pockets, and if those go, i'm pretty sure that no amount of EDC will actually help. Ok the glowstick is nice, might put one in my wallet to have for emergency situations.
ОтветитьThese videos are the dumbest of content because nobody in history ever uses these, they just make them and tell you about a bunch of worthless junk they keep on them but never open up.
ОтветитьI don't know if this is your only whistle that you're carrying, but if it is... I would strongly advise to remove it and carry it in a more readily available fashion, as having it concealed greatly reduces the "emergency use" factor. I carry a small, 3d-printed whistle that's attached to one of my backpack straps, so that I can access it within seconds.
ОтветитьHi first time I have commented on your videos but they are brilliant I am a keen EDC guy and find the contents of your videos really interesting and I agree with nearly all your contents Keep up the excellent work Bear Hull UK
ОтветитьPerhaps add some emergency money. A single note folded up
ОтветитьLove the sewing kit in the plastic straw!👍
ОтветитьWell done. I’ve tried this before and it’s not easy to put many useful things in it.
ОтветитьIf you don't put the items in the description, it's just clickbait.
ОтветитьI side with everyone sending their congratulations on this kit. Ingenious! I'm going to replace the two large waterproof matches with a book of matches giving me more chances at fire. I believe I might exchange the single, medium cable tie with two or three smaller ones. Well done!
ОтветитьWell done. You managed to pack a lot of functionality into a very small space. I can’t think of anything else you could fit other than maybe a TicTac.
ОтветитьI think this is probably the most useful survival contents you can fit in such a small tin.
Ответитьnice tiny kit
ОтветитьWater purification tablets and a small plastic bag for water
ОтветитьHi Jc. I like the practical approach you follow with your videos. I would perhaps consider adding a mini light source apart from the Glow stick. Also see if you can add an additional fire making source. Maybe an extra match? Bring out a version 2 and 3 if you will. Regards.
ОтветитьUKG - Thank you for your Mini-Altoids Emergency Kit video.
Haven't made that small of a kit. However, it has merit and would be a good, light EDC addition to a jacket or pants/shorts pocket.
Now I'm thinking of putting one together... you never know when you might have to "MacGyver" something in a pinch (in addition to having a SAK, of course).
Probably would add a Tourtoise Gear mini-ferro rod... it's small enough to fit and would be a backup to the matches. (Have them on my SAKs - but would add another to the mini-kit as well.)
Happy Trails!

Nice kit!
ОтветитьYears ago on the now defunct "BritishBlades" forum we had great fun with this concept. Sal Glesser from Spyderco joined in and one of the reasons for the size of the tiny Spyderco Bug was to fit a real knife into these tins. I am aware there is another reason which has to do with air travel and is why Sal would wear a Bug on a chain as a necklace. Add a Bug to this. Your kit is decent but you should also add a small mirror for signalling
