Long time but maybe you will see this, so when you put matt over , what is the difference between body filler and using gelcoat? What would i do if after resin + matt i notice i have some slight imperfections , would i do gelcoat anyway then body fill> paint or i would do body filler and gelcoat over and paint ?

It looks pretty nice but could you explain to me how to create the mold by using the existing fender and created your mold or do you use foam or anything like that to create

Why are you making fiberglass fenders when you have them made with metal already?

As an audio engineer, we always say half the mix is done during the recordings (1st stage). So what TOW is doing now means after casting it's straight prep for paint. There will be nothing to fill or correct. Best way, great job bro, love it. If it was possible I'd like you wing my car!

after applying that second coat of gelcoat when tacky, how long do you wait til applying first layer of fiberglass? do you let it dry or lay when tacky (like wet laying carbon)

Thank you so much for taking the time to share this video. It was really fun and interesting to watch, and I learned lots. Clearly a lot of time goes into moulding even a single panel, particularly when it's done as meticulously as this!

So why spray epoxy to just wet sand it? Why wouldn’t you just paint the whole fender before doing all the flanges etc? That way the part is sealed, and clear coated. Then you could wet sand that and polish that if you wanted.

Sanding fiberglass and blowing the dust everywhere in your shop while wearing a tank top is the most gangster sh!t I’ve seen all day.

if you are trying to get the best surface finish use a coupling foam pad between your sander & paper on your last go round.

Master Jedi Level Mold Making. The only thing I would have done differently is allow the first layer to gel before applying subsequent layers.
