How To Install (CurseForge) Modpacks for Default Minecraft Launcher (Manually)

When I did this with Fabulously Optimized on 1.20.1 it worked in the first half but then in multicraft it says "Archive doesnt recognize type of modpack"

it does not work

Personally, I would make a folder for the old files and keep them there instead of deleting them and downloading them every time I need them again.

why cant they just let u drag drop the mods in like it says

I'm trying to install RLcraft (from curseforge is the zip) and i did the steps but MultiMC says it doesnt recognize the type or smthing i need help

curseforge changed their api and i do not think this works anymore

what can i do if my mod packs dont have modpacks? i just downloaded the most actual version of better MC for forge and fabric, placed the zip on the special forge dir i created to be able to use forge and fabric on their own, and the fabric zip on my desktop, at first i extract the zip hoping it was just taking the mods out of the extracted folder and that's it, but I find that there is no mods folder inside the modpack, and now i try this and the multimc says that the mod pack dont have and actual modpack file, i downloaded the zips from the curseforge site itself

mine doesnt give a download option on curseforge only an install option then it makes me download the courseforge app, what do i do ?

sadly you cant use the curseforge method he showed but, YOU STILL NEED MULTI MC
when you select new instange use the technic one and search for the modpack using the integrated search engine
select it , download it , transfer the files , enjoy

but there is not mods folder in the zip modpack

I download the mod pack zip file like you did but the mods were not there for some reason. (1.12.2 minecraft version btw

This is pretty funny, I guess I was late to the party. I refuse to install yet another program (forge) just to add mods to minecraft easier.

doesnt work for home made modpacks, onlt works for big modpacks

The problem is you need a acount minecraft to load the modpack

I dont usually leave comments asking for help, but since you seem to reply to your comments, when i try to add the zip file to multimc it comes up with "Archive does not contain a recognised modpack type."

If anyone is using this tutorial, MultiMC in their recent update has cut curseforge support.

Hey so im trying to download the AQM2 modpack but when i use import from zip it says Some mod id resolving task failed

im trying to download the crayfish's furniture and biomes o plenty mods and it says i have to download a modpack "archive does not recognize modpacks" or something, how do i download those 2 mods?

yeah this does not work like its saying when installing the modpack zip file "archive does not contain a reconised modpack type" im trying to install create above and beyond.
with curseforge launcher i get 1 fps

Can u do something when i enable shaders such like bsl at low settings then also i get 15-20 fps without shaders 250 - 500 fos

Ah so good i get 250 fps now whereas without this i got 150 fps just awsome

atleast as far as curseforge is concerned, I was able to just point the launcher installation to the folder that houses the curseforge instance I want by copying the address/directory bar contents of that instance and paste it into "gamedirectory" on the launcher installation options

So I have windows ten of minecraft but whenever I go to use the mods it brings me to java edition any way I can fix this.
