Price Per Metre. Finding the unit cost per metre of a length of ribbon, tape or cable.

In this video you will learn how to find the cost per metre. This is the price for 1 metre of the item you are buying. To do this divide the money by how many metres you are buying. Make sure you write down the price first otherwise you will get the wrong price.

So for example, if 5 metres of table cost £2, then the price per metre will be 2 divided by 5 which gives an answer of 0.4 (40p per metre).
