Shootout + Opinion: 4 MXR PHASER PEDALS (Phase 90 vs Phase 95 vs EVH Phase 90 vs CS Script Phase 90)

I prefer the EVH P90 with the Script option on or off.

I had the EVH phase 90 for years and only ever really used it in script mode. Eventually I just bought a Script phase 90 so I couldn't accidentally kick the switch into block mode while manipulating the speed with my foot.

I decided pull the trigger on custom shop script 90,
Mellow but not sterile sound and NO volume boost that i hate in most phasers

Here's an idea. Put a loop station or something as your first pedal, record a loop and then switch between the pedals so we hear the same thing when you switch the pedals.

I like the EVH and the P95 better than both the standalone block or script here.
