I have a school project on the B-17 and have one of the video in my project.
ОтветитьThe graphics are perfect.. like when i was a kid i was told a lot, its not about the graphics its about the story. You can use n64 graphics and id be fine with it, because im more interested in the story.
Edit: Rest in peace to all the fighter pilots, bomber crews, tank and ship crews and infantry they all fought bravely. (Except for the war crimes committed by any side)
i liked the way the last was animated
ОтветитьTo see a picture of this, in an era far before cell phones, of something this incredible, makes the story hit home even more!
ОтветитьAround the 32 minute mark: the voice of Vossler is inaudible throughout the story. It was audible when I watched this video separately and not part of the compilation.
ОтветитьI think the real reason the US decided not to release the story of the German that spared Ye Old Pub, is to protect HIM from the cruelty of his own government.
ОтветитьOne thing I don't understand is how you guys are not the largest channel for WWII contact
Ответитьa pees on ya
ОтветитьWhat happened to the crew at the start did they bail out or did they die in disintegration
Ответитьthe gunner are not shot
ОтветитьTo all stories, unless you take out the pilot or damage the plane to the point it falls apart by itself, those things couldn't be put down
fourth story: that plane wanted to get home and once it did, it finally gave way as it was safe and sound
Uh I think you got some information wrong. Every single time I have heard the 666 story from multiple sources, and even the wiki page, all claim only 1 person died, sarnoski. And 4 others were heavily injured.
ОтветитьIf ever you do a Landcaster stories compilation, see if you can include the story of best friends Andrew Mynarski and Pat Brophy. Their plane was plummeting from the sky on fire as Mynarski slowly became a human torch trying to free Brophy from the rear turret which was jammed shut. Only giving up when Brophy ordered him to jump. His parachute was just cinders at that point and he died from impact+ burns not long after hitting the ground.
Meanwhile, Brophy survived. The Landcaster clipped a forest just before hitting a field and exploding with its full bombload. When it clipped, it tore the tail apart which threw Brophy out of the plane and into a tree. He didnt know that Minarski didnt survive until after the conclusion of the war.
bruh i just got stuck on a add and cant skip or get to the video i was trying to watch (this one)
ОтветитьThe propaganda just never stops, huh?
ОтветитьThose sabatours of weapons and war manufacturing are unsung heros and modern "domestic terrorists" I would presume. Heard many tales of people who had dried oil, fouled gears, burred firing mechanisms....doing anything possible to slow progress and endangering their lives to make their presence known unknown. Cheers. Warriors are in many shapes and sizes. May them medal you never received find you in your next life.
ОтветитьThank you
ОтветитьStorie two is so inspiring you have to do an updated version of this
ОтветитьI love this video make more like it!
ОтветитьSome very cool stories. One of my great uncles was a navigator in a b-17. I have a copy of a picture of him showing off his jacket with his various missions written on it. I wish I could hear him tell some stories
ОтветитьThat final story is amazing. It is special to hear that even in the most ruthless of battles there are men of honour.
ОтветитьI hope you Remaster them in your movie
ОтветитьWhen did he make the last video ????
ОтветитьThe American pilots and air crew of the bombers were very much protected with the 50 calibers. I believe there would be more Canadians alive today if they also would have hade the 50 calibers instead they hade the pea shooters British 303 calibers The incredible bravery of these Canadian bombers was most impressive very courageous.
ОтветитьDuring the “All American” story, when they collided I was only thinking about the War Thunder “YOU GOT A HOLE IN YOUR LEFT WING”
Ответитьu ppl rthatclueless about gunbs i c
Ответитьi love your vids carry on with the good work
ОтветитьIt's strange how it is possible to kill another person who is your enemy and feel nothing having done it, yet years later wonder what that person might have done or been had you let him live.
Ответить😂a bit plane ✈ lol good one😂❤
ОтветитьHow they could scrap some of these planes is beyond me.
ОтветитьTo the end
ОтветитьThat Stigler and Brown story just gives ya goosebumps!!!! Wow.
ОтветитьGreat stories!!!!!!
ОтветитьWhy do I keep getting the warthunder add but there's no b17 in it?
ОтветитьHI BOYS
ОтветитьI think your videos are great and I'm fortunate I was driving home watching the videos and I felt like I was in the cockpit 12-speed LOL just joking but not really great videos
ОтветитьEngines sound is replaced by a stupid music. What a pity.
ОтветитьWow,, what a fantastic and also amazing storing as well. 😂
ОтветитьGood stories of there mission when we need to paying tribute to them all of there mission and there not easy milk run from there mission
ОтветитьHi @Yarnhub, I wanted to ask you if you could make some Videos about the B17's that got shot down by the Swiss Air Force during world war 2, and, if possible, also one about all the other air to air combat above the ground in wich the swiss air force fought against german, french, britisch and american intruders.❤
I love your Videos!
My father in law was a tailgunner on a B-17 over Europe. He joined at 16 (lied about his age) and was flying in bombing missions at 17-18. He’s lucky he made it home. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Ответитьmy favorite B-17 story involves the 8th Air Force 100th Bomb Group, aka "Bloody Hundredth". On one mission an apparently shot-up 100th BG B-17 went into apparent surrender mode, dropping the wheels....2 Bf-109's snuggled in close to bring the bomber in as a prize and capture the crew alive; the crew waited unitl they were close to the German fighter base, then the gunners - out of sight until then - suddenly manned their weapons and shot both German fighters down, killing the pilots. Then gunned the engines and eventually got back to base in England. Where at least some of the other crews thought this was a very cool trick; actually, had I been the Group intel officer, I would have had them all out on the tarmac with paint buckets, altering the groups tail-designator (triangle/C, IIRC) to something, anything else. Wasn't done tho. Next mission: c. 18 bombers out, One wise pilot experiences (ahem) "engine problems" and turns back. Approaching the target, a mass of Luftwaffe fighters - alerted precisely to find and "get" the triangle/C designated BG - swarmed the 100th Group and shot down all but one.
ОтветитьDo one on p-51s
ОтветитьWill the king reply?👑
Ответитьbro the part when it goes from the bounce jr plane to the yo olde pub was out of this world
Ответитьyou have the most amazing voice for this
