So what is procedurally generated? I thought the surface of the planets was different for everyone and this video shows me they are the same, further I proved it myself by going to the exact location you did in the video.
ОтветитьYou just need to take off then you can find your landing pad and land don't need to go anywhere .
ОтветитьThanks for the really clear instructions. I was finally able to find the spot where the 5 resources converge thanks to the video.
ОтветитьNeed the part 2
ОтветитьWhen I started playing and building on Bessel I used the resource container storage to place excess resources to lighten my weight. That way I could use those resources to build when I needed and the storage capacity was much greater than those small storage boxes.
Ответитьhow did you get sarah to fall in love with you lol, she still carrying too much baggage for me!
ОтветитьAnyone got tips to find this location? I’ve spent what feels like hours trying to find it.
ОтветитьYou sound English so why say ALUMINIUM the American why
ОтветитьThis is amazing! Bessel iii b is a jackpot planet for resources and you made a very efficient use of it. That xp system is OP!
ОтветитьIron is easy to get, just farm asteroids for like 20 minutes and you have 100+ iron, easily enough for your first base. So yeah, while iron makes it MUCH easier (not to say my way isn't easy just if you have it on hand it's downright trivial!), don't bother yourself to find the PERFECT spot with Iron in it. JMO.
I'd add beryllium to your list of must have minerals though! This is a great guide though and very well explained too!
This is the best video explanation for where to find the spot iv seen, iv spent hours trying to find the area but this explains it perfectly
ОтветитьAlso if you just go into the ship builder and change your home ship or modify the color of one part it will automatically bring your ship to the landing pad
ОтветитьI've tried like 5 times I still can't land on the correct spot. I keep landing near other structures.
ОтветитьJust a heads up, if you are within 250m of your ship then you can access the cargohold in the pause menu and transfer items without needing to go to your ship.
ОтветитьGreat spot, and super clear as always. Too bad there isn't a planet coordinate system.
ОтветитьFirst on your Cribs list would be a jacuzzi or hot tub for party times with the other rich & shameless. Second a couple hangars fo' yo' whips, dude. Third a great heart-shaped bed for Sarah's gymnastics. 😋👍
ОтветитьAwesome work! I agree on the defence turrets being a bit "scattergun". I find the security robots to be better. There's also a video I've seen where someone builds a wall of containers around themselves for protection and then deletes all but the highest one. Its worth checking out!
ОтветитьMike, great video! I knew pretty much all that, but how you described how to find the right spot on Bessel III-b was super clear and easy to follow!
One tip I want to give is the whole getting your ship on the landing pad.... you can go to the ship building panel on the pad and in modify ships you can change home ship and if you flip between home ships it will teleport whatever ship you set as home ship to the landing pad!
Try as I might, I couldn't find the right spot to build a big landing pad when I tried. So I just plonked a small one down instead, which is OK for The Mantis. I'm not worried about future expansion, as I've hardly been back. You made it look easy on your console, Mike - but it's a real PITA building or connecting anything with keys & mouse on PC.
ОтветитьDon't forget to hard save your game before landing on Bessel III-b, as you likely won't get the right spot first time. It took me 3 or 4 tries a few weeks ago. It is possible to remove outposts/landing zones so you can try again, but can be real finicky. Much quicker just to reload. The exact spot to land should be smack in the middle of a crook like ) along the mountain ridge. Also sleep in your ship till around 7am so the mountain ridges throw shadows which make them easier to see. 😁👍
ОтветитьThanks Mike. Great video.
