Seems super cool. I played Hyper-whatsit and really liked it. Anyone know how they made it so smooth code-wise? I haven't googled if they shared code or anything, but I'm looking at making a little wanna-be game demo and am super curious. I remember the dead cells dev lead did a podcast talking about how they amended their jumping mechanics to make the experience better.

i played Hyper light this year and this really does like another version of that game, so my expectation is kinda high 😅

cool, I didn't know this was coming out. I played the demo a while back, it was solid but looks like a lot has been added. lol at the end... always be looking for fountains!

I played the fountains demo a few years ago and immediately backed it on kickstarter. I've got a digital copy waiting for me on release. I really like this game and I hope the final product is every bit as good as the demo, and I'm glad it's getting coverage because I think it deserves to be seen.

The coin purse mechanic is great. Being able to crunch down your souls at a slight loss to avoid total loss is a great addition to the souls-like formula.

Hyperlight drifter is one of my favorite games of all time. Looking forward to this.

Thought I’d comment here to ask if you were going to/were aware of the big new update that just came to Stoneshard! It’s called the Rags To Riches update and it adds a lot of content!

With the update it implements all of their base features now as well. So updates for it & 1.0 time should be speeding up, as they just need to expand upon their already implemented features now

This is a day 1 buy for me!! It looks like a mix between Hyper Light Drifter, Crypt Custodian, and a soulslike! I'll need to wait until I'm done with Jedi Fallen Order first so i don't lose my momentum in that game, but I'm buying this Friday regardless!!

the guy that made this game its showing that he likes hyper light drifter. the attacks the character the health collecting shard it almost exactly like hyper light drifter. bot 1 thing that i wish he add is that he put more details cause the game looks pale and dry looking not in a good way. he needs to work on the color theory and add some extra details in the environment.

I, too, am not a big fan of re-fighting enemies, but this game does look sick! Very fleshed out for being a one man development.
