Hey, obligatory thank you comment no one cares about here.

I know people didn't click on this video for my editing skills or wonderful personality and that its basically just some slapped together interviews I snatched online for people who were interested in the topic. But I'm honestly thankful for anyone who subscribed, liked or left a respectful comment.

It's so cool to have a video as big as this and more than a 100 people subscribing is insane!
I didn't expect this from a video I hastily edited together on my phone a few years ago.

I still believe that someone at Microsoft urged the buyouts of both Obsidian and Bethesda solely to get the Obsidian team onto the next Fallout game.

If the industry wasn't such a corporate hell hole - it would be awesome if Bethesda and Obsidian teamed up more often.

The engine and art design built by Bethesda while Obsidian handles the writing would make more amazing games like New Vegas

I'm honestly so surprised at how bethesda treats new vegas from a business perspective. Almost out of spite for doing things so mech better do they make their own games worse by sticking to the same outdated formula which obsidian remedied in mass.

Todd is just bitter, that obsidian made a better fallout game on a tight budget insane short time frame, & it’s still better and more beloved 10years later then fallout 4

New vegas was a real sequel to fo2 but fo3 felt more like a spinoff then a sequel to fo2

If outer world is an example of modern obsidian, its better if they don't make it...

Todd is obviously coping and seething at the fact that a game not even made by him is more beloved than 99% of the games his company made

now that bethesda and obsidian are both owned by microsoft, i wonder if they have a new game in the works. obviously i won’t see another fallout til i’m old and gray but i really hope to play another obsidian & bethesda fallout game someday.

The problem is that the best fallout EVER MADE was fallout New Vegas. The problem also is that there not going to make fallout anymore, Bethesda who can only make an AVERAGE fallout game are the people who are going to make fallout from now on. Just look at Fallout 76, Biggest piece of sht ever made. Id rather play fallout 1 then 76. Fallout 4 was ok, but just OK, could have been way better. This is something i want to see in fallout even since fallout 3. Have it where you go farm or grind materials and the npc's help over time build the settlement back to new. Like in sanctuary lakes in fallout 4. The whole game they just keep hammering buildings but nothing gets done. Its like seriously in todays day and age you cant have them fix roofs and fix walls and see this run down town get put back together like it would in real life. It would feel so much more immersive. Even have them clean the rubbish from the floor and make new furniture.

New Vegas is by far my favourite Fallout game... One of my top 10 games of all time, or at least top 20.

Obsidian would have done such good work with Fallout and ES. I really hope Microsoft push the IP's out of Todds hands.

Fallout NV is better than any Todd Howard IP. It maybe the best game of all time top 15

What Obsidian did in 18 months Bethesda could never do.

The irony is that Bethesda have no idea what made fallout special, but obsidian Got it fully. Bethesda just thought it was taking 50s aesthetics and putting it in the future apocalypse which misses the entire mark.

New vegas is a true fallout game unlike 4 or 76

I love new vegas but it is over 10 years old now. Time to let it go, fallout ended after new vegas, dont be sad its gone, be happy it happened

I love New Vegas, it’s an excellent game. But I’ll always prefer Bethesda Game Studio’s take on Fallout. They’re far better at crafting fictional settings and building worlds, and despite the fact that it wasn’t originally their IP, Fallout is no exception. Fallout 4 is still their most well-designed game, it’s sorely underrated.

New Vegas felt like a natural sequel to Fallout 2 and features a faction system so good that I've yet to see any other game do the same but just as well if not better

The best part of New Vegas was it felt like people rebuilt and adapted after the fallout. In fallout 3 and 4, if feels like no one cared to rebuild or clean up. They just live as if the fallout happened yesterday.

And they did not give them time to do it

Seeing Todd acknowledge that Obsidian would be the only one trusted to do FNV 2 does inspire some confidence, despite the fact that recent years have done nothing but make me doubt Bethesda's direction. I've started to doubt Obsidian's direction somewhat as well, though. At the end of the day, all I want is some justice to be done for the amazing world of fallout. I have no expectations for that to ever happen again, but I have high hopes.

The past REAL fallout game, once outer worlds gets a proper sequel theres no reason to touch Bethesda again. Fallouts after new vegas had no soul and were barely playable
