I love how every other song from the Cure is a masterful fusion of alternative, gothic, art rock, and dream pop, but this song is oh so jazzy in contrast to almost everything they've ever done. Lovecats may be a joke, but it's a good one.

The Cure always reminds me of Junior High School. They were the cat's meow back then, (no pun intended). I didn't get into them as much as some of my classmates, but they are a really remarkable band, especially for that time. Like many things in the past, I find myself appreciating them a lot more now than I did then. Kudos.
