Le Captain cœur de bœuf était chargé comme un porte avion ..
Ответитьcould be Nick Cave
ОтветитьThe ole Captain was very unique.........
Ответитьthis is a real love song what a shame the young dont hear it
ОтветитьSuicidally depressing. Musicality matched only by his stage presence.
ОтветитьIs that Alexander Zontac playing the flute.
Ответить....it didn't all have to be a high wire act....IMO the 'Bluejean' band were wonderful for Don...back then..if you weren't on the radio...it was tough to sell records...they just made no money.....
ОтветитьSounds a lot like simple man hmm
ОтветитьGreat
ОтветитьThis day the captain is a genius
ОтветитьOh Captain my Captain.
ОтветитьI think it's beautiful
ОтветитьWhen you consider he wrote most of the musical arrangements for the band , shows his remarkable talent
ОтветитьOnce the Captain sings a song, it's eternally his.
ОтветитьHow the heck could he sing with such divinity while on same set he also sang Upon the My O My!,
Incredibly talented soul! Influenced many artists and future bands
I love this song so much!
ОтветитьI love how flute bro is all annoyed that he can't have a mustache
ОтветитьLike it better this way with 'this is the way love "came" to play', instead of the studio version on Unconditionally Guaranteed that says "chose" to play. Also, This Is The Day, Bluejeans & Moonbeams and Observatory Crest are some of the Beefheart tunes, while most of the more the avant garde stuff is too hard on the ears.
ОтветитьGoes to leave the room, stops suddenly and says " One more thing, I can play the flute "
ОтветитьMy introduction to Captain Beefheart was through Trout Mask Replica, I avoided him for years due to that experience...This, on the other hand is an absolutely beautiful song and performance. I've always felt utterly bereft that I wasted about 25 years ignoring his other work :-(
ОтветитьHappy valentines day to all you lovers out there
ОтветитьBeautiful! Thanks for posting this superb piece of music, each musician plays the perfect part, the sum of those parts is a far greater thing. There's always something new to find with Captain Beefheart no matter how many times you listen. Love and Peace x
ОтветитьIsn't that Donna's father playing the flute?
ОтветитьEverybody.
ОтветитьThe bombs will land. Death is exchanged for words.
ОтветитьA bird was in a tree and sung at me, The little bird gave everything.
ОтветитьVery nice!!
ОтветитьFuzzy Fiscaldo
ОтветитьI really like Capts so called commercial phase besides severe avant garde phases...the coarse and velveteen were his ways...
Ответитьbrano splendido
ОтветитьDon Van Vleit? Is that his name? Anyway, goddamn I love everything he was ever part of. From inaccessible to pop.
ОтветитьWife co-written tunes were weak but still the Captain.
Ответить5 stars
ОтветитьHo ho ho.
ОтветитьWow! I really like this! And I'm no beef heart fan!
ОтветитьI sense a bit of tongue in cheek by ole Cappy.
ОтветитьNice.
ОтветитьHave you met someone from another planet? Everyday space cadets. There is nobody you think you know that is within a planets distance.
ОтветитьI'd love to be able to break out this number at will, pay for things and attract the wamen folk and such.
Ответитьgenius and all togehther butterflash
Ответитьheartbreaking sweet hopeful sound
Ответить🙂
ОтветитьPerfection x
ОтветитьGENIUS and I mean that
ОтветитьThat’s some lousy music.
ОтветитьThe feeling, what a song man... Thank you Cap, you have reached inmortality.
Ответитьthese are the bad days
ОтветитьWas he actually a gas engineer?
