Wow, what a surprise, it was all do nepotism😂
"yeah man just get your dad who is friends with a ceo of a company get you an exclusive job interview😂"
A documentary on the founder of Japanese gaming giant Nintendo?!
ОтветитьSorry to say but I genuinely think that Miyamoto has way too much control over Nintendo properties to the point of the projects detriment. His opinion that games shouldn’t have a story because it isn’t necessary is ridiculous. I’m not discrediting his impressive creations but nowadays I think he hurts Nintendo properties more than he helps them.
ОтветитьSo Myamoto is a nepo baby? Sad
ОтветитьOh. His dad was the friend-of-a-friend for the president of the company. That's how he was able to get the job.
Huh.
What a legend
ОтветитьThat was fuckin beautiful. 😢
ОтветитьTo be frank I think the failure of Pikmin, sunshine, and windwaker and the GameCube as a whole can largely jet be attributed to the fact it was just getting so outclasses by the PS2. The quality of the games has nothing to do with it, that's why all of these games are considered bangers today. It's just that Nintendo couldn't deal with the insane success of the PS2
ОтветитьFor 71, he looks really good. Hope he lives to 100+ and keeps bringing inspiration to the masses.
ОтветитьLove this. Thank you!
ОтветитьTruly the Alfred Hitchcock of game directors
ОтветитьThank you Miyamoto san indeed, am not crying, you are.
ОтветитьLive long and prosper, Miyamoto-San.
ОтветитьImagine that a lot of the superstars started their work as artists or writers...I think game companies shouldn't just limit people based on their qualifications and specialties and gave people different hats to try on.
ОтветитьWe love you Miyamoto for years of entertainment
Ответитьawesome <3
ОтветитьDYKG does it again! I'm confused why the GameCube games did so badly.
ОтветитьI admire this man, this dude made mine and so many others childhoods. he will always be the best video game creator in my eyes :D
ОтветитьHe was offered the position President of Nintendo of Japan and turned it down.
ОтветитьWho’s the character in the bottom left of the screen? I know all the others.
ОтветитьHow’s Candi doing? Haven’t seen her around Twitch lately.
ОтветитьA titan of the industry, he changed the way we interact, both with each other, but also with media. A legacy that will be remembered for a long time.
ОтветитьDude did RARE dirty
ОтветитьI love watching the developer and artist documentaries here. I hope you guys will do Toru Iwatani (creator of Pac-Man) and Toshihiro Nagoshi (creator of Super Monkey Ball and Yakuza) down the road.
ОтветитьNext do the "Story of Keiji Inafune"
ОтветитьNext episode: Yuji Naka - How A One Series Wonder Became Gaming's Most Beloved Criminal
Ответить😭
ОтветитьAnd he's a lefty, he'll yeah.
Ответитьmany say the virtualboy was a mistake but the real mistake was renaming the N Revolution to "wii" and made the switch a toy
Ответитьsad how stagnant Nintendo got post Gamecube.
ОтветитьIt's no exaggeration to say we wouldn't HAVE the modern gaming industry without Shigeru Miyamoto. Not just all of Nintendo's beloved characters, but the idea of video games as a household medium flow directly from his work. The man is Walt Disney/Stan Lee-level influential.
ОтветитьThe Old Timer Living Skeleton himself could teach future game developers in the future.
He maybe not be walt disney but he is a modern walt.
R.I.P. 🙃
ОтветитьSee Saw sounds like it could be a mobile game
Ответитьi dont agree with every thing he has done or said but if he was perfect 10/10 all the time how would he or us as gamers learn so for all the highs and lows thank you Mr. miyamoto
ОтветитьWow, I never knew nepotism got him the Job at Ninty.
ОтветитьA DYK made me teary eyed near the end
ОтветитьThe origin of the name juggernaut = this man
ОтветитьWas the 'so long and thanks for all the games' line an intentional reference to the hitch hikers guide to the universe?
ОтветитьMore like 64DDs nuts!!!!!
ОтветитьWas this... written by Myamoto?
ОтветитьI couldn't wait for the day he stopped meddling with game development.
ОтветитьI think what Miyamoto has done is invaluable to the direction of the industry and he truly has earned his reputation, but I think he's in a younger world that he doesn't want to adapt to and he should probably retire
ОтветитьThe story about donkeykong always baffles me. From a panic to an international flex crazy fast.
ОтветитьRIP Miyamoto, your legacy will live on 😢
