Sometimes, running OBS as administrator also helps.

i can't do that and i don't see the game still and before that ui could see it in game capture in my case is for WOW Lich King and yeah it's not showing only on display capture but i don't wanna use display capture.

Awesome it worked! I wanted to play Killzone 3 but XMB recorded just fine when I go into the game, the black screen and no sound issue $hit started. this simple fix made my day. thanks a lot!

I have the same annoying problem with my my video source as well. I have to delete every scene each time I restart the OBS. "Resize the Output" does not highlight as well. Please help...

If its still not working for you, run OBS as admin, works perfectly fine.
