Friend of mines 70 yr old mom just got taken for 500k out of her retirement nest egg by some scammers with a financial investment app. The app was online and had reputable looking credentials. They wanted her to mail cash under the guise of "saving money on the transfer fees" to their company which should have been the immediate red flag but she is elderly and thought she was going to help the family by a good investment. If you have older parents grandparents etc...immediately sit down with them and talk to them about this stuff. They need education on it.

May God bless your work. I got scammed once, but I was lucky that the company they pretended to be, reimbursed me.

I got scammed my 401 k, and they attached them selves to my bank account so I closed my accounts, the number they used was from Louisiana. Know there trying to get me threw pay pal

Love screwing scammers! The one thing I find in my line of work is, when I tell the people they are being scammed, so many don't believe me and continue sending money to the scammers.

Seeing as these criminals have been accused by American citizens, US Congress should demand India extradite them to the US to be tried. Unfortunately that would require competent governments and that's not practical. Governments worldwide are ignoring their own laws because they don't really care about their people. Gotta hand it to private business to take up justice on their own. Capitalism always wins.
