Years ago my stepson put a deposit down on a car that they didn't have in inventory "yet". I called inquiring on that particular model. They said a lady was trading in one Friday. I drove my stepson into the dealer. And with a loud voice threatening to call a local station about this situation. They wrote a check from the amount of the deposit. Then I took my stepson to the bank in which the check was draw on to cash it. I told him I will pay the non customer fee for cashing it. I told him if he cash at his bank they could have the check stopped before it goes thru the system. You may be charge for a bounced check.

Watch out for car gurus. They will advertise a price but when you call you will have to ask if that is the total price. Many dealers will tell you that there are after market devices such as an alarm and the price is actually more. But you have to ask.

I made a Christmas online purchase from Walmart . Not something I have done before as Amazon has been mostly my go to as their platform is easy to navigate . The reason for this change on this order Amazon did not have these items I was purchasing . One item which I ordered on Sunday was delivered on the same day . Come to find out they use local delivery options from gig workers . They also have the advantage of many Walmart locations that technically act as warehouses close to where they are easily delivered . So store pickup is not necessary and the gas it costs to drive there . The delivery was free . Now the other bonus is the gift that was delivered can be returned to any Walmart for an exchange or a credit . If you return something like on Amazon the payment is billed back to the credit card that was used . So many times a unused or damaged gift is never returned not to hurt the gifters feelings . I did that to my mom once and she was not happy . The one other thing that I appreciate from this online order from Walmart is they extend the return date for the holidays to the end of January . Many times we order and when the gifty gets around to the gift it's past the 30 day return policy . I will be giving online Walmart a second look on future purchases
