As an American citizens i used to travel in qatar alot. I love spending time there. Right now Americans or European, or any other countries traveling to qatar need to be careful. A country that gives money and safe haven for terrorist like hamas leaders. How do people trust to travel there? How do you know they not take us citizens as hostages? It's time for the world to isolate boycott Qatar. For peace stop supporting terrorism

I just wanted to say I have just watched your 27hr flight and stop over and admire you for putting up with everything within the seats. You have the patience of an angel 4 crying and screaming babies plus the person in the seat next to you was ill and refused to wear a mask.
I would have exploded with frustration and asked is it possible to pay for the upgrade mid flight. I have flown to Sydney once with a crying baby 2 rows back and I swear by the time we landed the whole plane was ready to ask the mother Why she letter it cry for 12 hrs solid.
Premium economy or business is a minimum when flying long haul at least that way you can sleep and enjoy the first day of your holiday or being with your family again.

Very nice! That chicken dish will give AA Flagship business class meal a run for the money frankly speaking! For sure the foods beat AA or BA premium economy hands down. I mean if it was served on a nice plate with a bit of decoration, it would be enough for AA business meal by their standards.  

I only have flown Qatar once for short trip from London to Warsaw years ago. But end of this year, I will be flying with my family from ORD to Doha then BKK. Curious if you find that front seat with extra leg room seat is better than the one that you sat from Doha to Phuket. The issue with that front row seat is that the hand rest is fixed. My little daughter wouldn't be able to lay flat across on our laps. I have Executive Platinum privilege and can pick and choose seats while they are still available. Is there a visa requirements for americans if there's layover in qatar or in qatar airway? Is hand carry and checked luggage free? How many bags can we have for free in economy?

I am compelled to share my recent devastating experience with Qatar Airways which was characterized by a shocking lack of coordination and customer empathy. My wife and I had a flight scheduled from London to Jakarta with a layover in Doha. Upon arriving at Heathrow and beginning our check-in process, we were informed that our tickets from Doha to Jakarta had been cancelled. A subsequent interaction with a Qatar Airways representative further muddled the situation as they informed us that it was our London to Doha flight that had been cancelled, not the latter.

Despite assurances from the operations supervisor and her team that the issue would be resolved and we would be able to board the flight, we were ultimately denied access due to the flight being overbooked. The chaotic miscommunication and lack of transparency not only led to immense confusion but also subjected us to high levels of stress and disappointment, especially considering my wife is currently pregnant.

We were left in a vulnerable position, with consequential losses including a non-refundable hotel stay at the Jakarta Four Seasons and a subsequent flight from Jakarta to Bali. The sheer lack of accountability from the airline and the casual mention of a 5% overbooking policy was deeply disturbing. It seemed as though the airline placed higher importance on maximizing ticket sales rather than ensuring the peace of mind and satisfaction of their customers.

While we hope to be compensated for our financial losses and emotional distress, the experience has significantly shaken our faith in Qatar Airways. The airline's handling of the situation was far from satisfactory. I advise prospective passengers to consider other options to avoid such disruptive experiences.

At the time of writing this review, we are still waiting for our revised flight tickets and a more comprehensive resolution from Qatar Airways. The entire episode has been a bitter ordeal and has grossly tarnished our view of what was once a reputed airline. The lasting impact on our holiday plans and the toll it took on our wellbeing was far from what one expects when embarking on a journey with an esteemed international carrier like Qatar Airways.

This is how I fell in love with Brocolli Cheese soup. Had some on a flight 1x was lucky enough to get it a second time on a flight when I was older.

I still enjoy eating broccoli soup on the ground. But there is definitely something about the different recipe for in flight broccoli soup that makes it that much better.
