I love her reaction and analysis; I think we all know this was their record seemingly played over a live performance or lip sync- but it doesn’t take anything away from how masterful this balad is. I only wish it hadn’t cut off so soon because there is still great guitar work at the end of the song not captured here.

I can sing with him and sound somewhat like him but I can`t control it like he does. I do have a high voice like him but he still stumps me all the time. His control is insane!! I usually crack on some of his vocals when singing along. It might be the fact that I smoke and he don`t. I think it is. Plus I am 62 yrs old. I can still hit those high notes though.

KLAUS doesn`t crack in his voice at all! He has such control and it is natural for him. He just has a voice that cuts like a razor. No one else on this planet sounds like him. He is a phenom that is truly special!!!

To all guitar players. This is how it is done. Subtle yet screaming, tasty yet narly. Style and writing is what sells not playing as fast as you can. Vocals, Klaus is in a class by himself. Being original is important. Do not imitate others. That is a cheap way out. Be who you are. Mostly just write good songs with feeling and emotion.

Klaus is a gem! A one of a kind! What a voice! He had throat surgery to remove some nodes from his vocal chords and came out unscathed. This guy can sing!!!

If you wanna listen to some real good Scorpions songs go back to the mid 70's. Sails of Charon, We'll burn the sky, He's a woman, she's a man are just a few of their best songs. Look for the video ones not the music where you can't see them, cause they had that 70's platform shoes, crazy clothes and were so young.

the first time I heard this song which introduced me to the Scorpions world was in the summer of 1984....I was literraly shoked by Claus performance and I was just 11 at that time...I mean nobody with ears can't deny how Claus is affecting his emotions with such performances using such simple lyrics turned into a deep impacting images..

KLAUS is the greatest rock vocalist wordwide-export from germany, that we had (and still have) on offer, <3 <3 it's remarkable how good he still sounds (considering he is "a hundred years" old now).

Watching your expression and eyes darting left and right as you thrill to what you are hearing raises the emotion of this piece to another level and your explanations are superb.

Actually, now that I think about it, Bon Jovi rarely uses falsetto also.

You need to study the Bee Gees and other bands that use falsetto as a musical tool to hear the difference (Steven Tyler goes into falsetto when he screams "Dream On"). Hans' delivery is truly masterful. I creates all of those unique tones with his real voice.
