Carnival is an absolutely horrible cruise line, took a cruise with them 12 years ago, if you must cruise, then go Cunard line

Anytime bad things happen to ships and trains, the news always speaks about it do rapid, but when bad things happen to planes, no bats an eye.

And no refunds 👀

I hope the 24 hour buffet was not closed. hahaha .. a cruise ship: the newly wed, over fed, and almost dead.

They sailed into a storm when I was one one of their other ships. Never again. It was at night and only eight of us were awake. I really thought I was dead. I will never get back on their ship. They can’t be trusted.

When you get on a boat and head into the ocean, there’s always the possibility that Mother Nature is going to make life difficult. That ship is ment to be in that environment. If you can’t handle it pick a different vacation snowflake.

I'm bummed I wasn't on that boat! Been on several cruises but nothing more than 10' swells or so. It's the Atlantic people. Get over it.

Reason number 952 why I will never go on a cruise ship.

I’ve been on many cruises. I’m also a bit of a weather nerd. I feel it was irresponsible of that captain to take that boat through the middle of that storm. Praise God no one was hurt and the captain did bring the ship into port. I saw that storm coming last week, and was very surprised to hear a cruise ship went into it. 🤢. Just glad everyone made it back safe. I wouldn’t want to cruise with that captain. ☮️

Ships are designed to take a beating if bad weather comes...people not so much. Bad weather is not always easy to navigate around, especially when your already 8 hrs late.

If you get onboard a huge ship that goes out to sea, then, inherently, you’re at the mercy of whatever bad weather happens. As to not having continuous updates? The crew was a bit busy! PS, if you see crew with life vests on in bad weather? Put yours on for God’s sake! The can be a nice pillow!

Lucky buggers. I'd rather go to sea and spill my cookies on a wild ride than sleep in a land-locked hotel and splash my ankles in the pool...
