I would contemplate selling my soul for that bird. My God, she has everything a man could want.
ОтветитьSweet Landing...In 1981 I flew a 421c Brand new Flew It 250 HRS for a private owner This plane is outstanding The Avionics state of the art Wish that was avail. back then
ОтветитьI envy you so much I was the youngest person to solo in Canada in1954 but an defective eye and a Medical doctor who didn't know the law reefused my medical if not I belive I would have your life!
ОтветитьThanks for flying here just recently subscribed nice area to fly Ventura county local :)
ОтветитьHi Rich. That`s some cute extensive goodies on a 421. Pretty solid platforms. Happy landings from Portugal
ОтветитьI know a lot about 421s.
Started my career working at RAM.
Built the first winglet.
I would rather walk than fly in one of these.
Not sure but last I heard Crackential does not even support these engines any more.
For all that money buy a turboprop.
Used to tell my customers when taking off with a geared engine always be ready for an engine to quit.
Flying dinosaur.
ОтветитьNever got introduced to this beautiful lady.
ОтветитьI am commenting because of the excellent aircraft that you graciously present for our viewing pleasure.. everything i was going to say has been said already regarding this 421. Its a beautiful bird.
ОтветитьHi Rich, I contacted OCR about this aircraft but didn't get a reply. I then noticed that the airplane was no longer on the OCR website? Did it go under contract that fast? If not, please let me know. I'd love to take a look at the logs. Thx!
ОтветитьBeautiful plane. Really nice video and ice in the veins.
ОтветитьThe production quality of this video is incredible! Wow!
ОтветитьMy Dad flew this plane in 1974 from Whichita KS to Islamabad Pakistan .
ОтветитьRestaurant in field closed
ОтветитьThey still do two hundred knots down the runway ten feet off the ground.
ОтветитьVery nice! What I don't like about twin Cessnas is the busy cockpit latout.
ОтветитьGreat video. Earned a sub from me for sure. What a plane. Gushing.
ОтветитьNice short field and hitting your mark!
ОтветитьCalifornia is such a beautiful state... To bad it's so full of nut jobs... Beautiful Flight.
ОтветитьThe production quality of your videos is outstanding! Appreciate all the avionics details and views too. Well done!
ОтветитьI could have told ya there isn't anywhere to eat close to the airport in Santa Paula. Y'all should have just gone a bit further to Santa Barbara. At least there you can Uber to Hollister Brewing Company or 3 Pickles. Easy walking distance.
Ответить💙💙💙
ОтветитьWah !! Why would someone instal all thos extras ... and then sell iy ??
ОтветитьAs a former retired professional pilot and because of my curiosity, please expound on how you as a pilot can fly so many different types of aircraft? WOW! I want to do that. Could be a great subject for you to produce on your site.
ОтветитьDid Robertson make an STOL kit for the 421/414 as they did for the 340? Sure you can keep heaping comments -- it's worth at least $20K every time you make one. I'm guessing it goes on market for $650-700. I wonder, but it looks like you have some spoiler float there [creates drag of an aft facing step]. PS nice music on this one PPS. when I was living in Camarillo those hills were never that green!
ОтветитьI flew for 10 years in the Army. All steam gauges from 1985 to 1996. Now glass panels and automated everything.
ОтветитьToo bad Fadec wasn't around back then.
ОтветитьAlways fun flying into Santa Paula for their First Sunday events. All the hangars are open, a lot of antique aircraft.
ОтветитьWould love a heads up.
ОтветитьBeautiful landing and departure
ОтветитьLove the sound Rich
ОтветитьMy Favorite Twin Rich the amazing 421 and one thing about it the operating cost and maintenance
ОтветитьSanta Paula - where McQueen had a hangar…
ОтветитьFully Loaded! LOL. Nice to see a FroogleSim’ism making a comeback.
ОтветитьWhat kind of camera are you using. The picture clear.
ОтветитьGreat looking aircraft. Thank you for sharing.
ОтветитьWhen I work at an FBO in the late 80s and early 90s, the 421 was my favorite airplane.
ОтветитьRichard you Rascal...........
ОтветитьI've made that flight so many times...beautiful airport, but kinda tight even in a single! Got to give you credit for flying the pattern and not being a jerk and landing straight-in, which would almost be excusable in such a big twin. A lot of training and NORDO traffic at that airport. Also not a major glass fan, but will admit that's the cleanest panel I've ever seen in a piston twin.
ОтветитьTruly beautiful bird. The pride of ownership shines brightly.
ОтветитьThat's my favorite Cessna 🤩
ОтветитьNice views in the pattern!!
ОтветитьBeautiful plane. I always loved the 421 until my family went down in one Memorial Day, 1988 - @ Devils Post Pile.
ОтветитьAnother great video Rich. Nice to see someone demonstrate the short field capabilities of this airplane. How do you mount the external cameras on the airplane, especially on the 421. I am interested it mounting one. Thanks!
ОтветитьRaised in Camarillo in the sixties. I remember Santa Paula when the only guy there was Mike Dewey !! Great flight !!
ОтветитьWhat is that application called you use to view airport, read weather info and all that? What application is it please?
ОтветитьI love flying along with you. You know so much about airplanes. 👍
ОтветитьQuestion…did you pull the power all the way out when you were on short final?
Great video, as always. I love your channel. California is truly a beautiful place…to bad the people and politics have ruined it.
