A little followup...I went to see my doctor 1 yr ago for heart pain that radiated down my left arm. Because Covid was still affecting a lot of people I was given a Covid test upon entering my doctors office. I was told I was positive for Covid even though I was vaccinated and ushered out the back door. No word from the office about why my heart was hurting. They never even checked up on me. My feet are swollen at night still, I get dizzy and have had the same cough for 2 months now. Can my heart be enlarged from Covid? I am traveling in a day and want to know if I have a serious heart condition. I have no faith in my current doctor for any help.

Hi I am 52 years old ! I was taking a nap when heavy pressure on my chest woke me up when I realized I couldn’t breathe I worked very hard to put a little bit of air down my chest but everything seams shot . I got up hopping to restart my breathing after 2 steps I collapsed . All this last few minutes and than everything was came Bach like normal . I didn’t go to the hospital but I regret it now . Should I be concerned ?? Please help

I am 31 and have a slight, noticeable bilateral ear crease starting at the tragus but it doesn't go all the way out, just about two cm. I have always had shortness of breath on exertion (lifelong asthma patient), exercise regularly (work a physical job), don't smoke, pretty average American diet (so not that great, but not horrible). Avoid sugars altogether. Should I worry or be evaluated? I feel young to be seeing the crease already...

I've been diagnosed since November 2021 with Hypertensive cardiovascular disease in sinus rhythm with left ventricular hyperthropy functional1.,I have my maintenance meds like in the morning trimetazidine hydrochloride 35mg,carvidelol 25mg,clopidogrel 75mg. in the evening trimetazine 35mg and Losartan 100mg...inspite I have meds already sometimes ..There are times Im sleeping then suddenly I woke up feeling like my breathing stop for a second and my pulse is faster for seconds specially when I'm stress and tired usually grasping of breathing...There also times my BP drops to 80/60...usually my bp is 100/60 but when my bp reached to 120/80 i feel dizzy ...My cardiologist don't really explained to me evertyhing...except only that my meds are lifetime...Please In need your point of view as a doctor ...Thank you!!

Hi Dr. One thing I wish was talked about more was a congenital heart valve issue like a bicuspid aortic valve. I was 47 when I had my aortic stenosis replaced by open heart surgery. I think talking more about how to seek treatment and when and how often needs to be addressed and taken seriously. My thoracic surgeon was surprised to see how bad my valve was when he saw me. I wish I had seen your video earlier and taken my congenital valve issue more serious as I experienced all of the symptoms you described. Keep up the good work and if anyone is reading this and feels theses symptoms talk to your doctor, your loved ones need you.

I'm 49 years old, turning 50. I am a Work Alcoholic & I have over worked myself cause I am a Carer of my mother 24/7. Recently I have attended to see the Doctor about all the symptoms mentioned in this video. I was told that my heart is double pumping in ever heartbeat, that really shocked me to my bones. I have to undergo further testing next week. How is it possible for a heart to double pump?

I have ache pains in my right arm which go up to my jaw. This developed after I had a blood test I put it down to a nerve being hit. I cannot e excise much as I M awaiting a hip operation and I'm In lots of pain with it. I am now afraid to get the operation in case something goes wrong. I go to a heart doctor he said I had two miles leaking heart valves.
