Failure IS an Option isn't exclusive to game overs. It popped for me when I failed Dio's challenge to get the Keystone. I know we're skipping that but that's something to be aware of.

I was replaying the game on PS4 this month, and you can master materia and not get the trophy, just not any materia that needs 5 levels like restore and all

FFX has a 9999 damage trophy. That’s one that could cause problems here too if it was in the list.

The innovation for unique playthroughs is unmatched by any.. One thing that I would suggest is to add "No buffs" to the constraints since FF7 can be easily navigated through buffs even when under-leveled

Will the level 5 materia trophy pop with 5 enemy skills?

I'll NEVER do this since I'll NEVER fight Carry armor even AT lv 60 with 9999 HP 999 MP UNLESS you KoTR it to death and at ANY HP BELOW 2500 Demo Gate's Demon Rush attack can 1 shot the ENTIRE party that's why I'll never fight it it unless at lv 45 with 5000 to 6000 HP 500 to 600 MP then use Meteor rain ONCE to kill it instantly.

After binging the Aerith Revenge challenge on original ps1 in a week, the quality of the steam and ps4 versions look so weird.

Back in 2018 my now husband and I did a playthrough of FF7 together and I kid you not we also named our party after pasta. And when you said that Barret was giving "Lasagna vibes" I died because I swear to you we named him Lasagna. Cracked me up.

Question, what's the best way/version to play FF7 now? Trying to convert my sister but don't want it to be a s*** experience. For example, I know some ports used the terrible midi tracks for the music.
