Remains very impressive despite its age.......Well done.
Ответитьseeing this tank restored im excited, i think ill goose step down driveway
I'll have a right rear Midgard for a '43 Tiger 1 please."
" No worries mate, we'll deliver next Wednesday."
It is kind of a joke in Bovington, to compare two minor chains in the back of a German Tank in the Museum. The one is a quality, German Chain made by Craftsmen in Germany! The other one is an industrially made and bend chain of similar length, made by a Machine in the US, most likely, for the same purpose and for a fraction of the price!
ОтветитьGreat stuff. But what about some engineering data on why things are as they are? Technical explanations please.
ОтветитьI remember the one pulled from a Polish river a few years ago.
OMG, no wonder the Tiger was such a maintenance disaster with that roadwheel mounting method.
OK, my Inner NCO coming out. NEVER stand in between two vehicles when one is moving. My brigade in Germany had a tank crewman literally cut in half by an Abrams while loading at the railhead. Also, never move an armored vehicle without a crew helmet. Don't be the reason for next weeks Saftey Brief.
It just doesn't seem right that a German mofo TIGER tank has parts called "bananas".
ОтветитьTremendous work by all the team. The pride and dedication shines out, can’t wait to see the finished Tiger running.
ОтветитьBravissimi a vere fatto un lavoro formidabile complimenti credo che le generazioni che verranno Ve ne saranno grati.😊
ОтветитьWhat's inside the Tiger?
ОтветитьThe realisation that a radio operator, no a human died just mere centimetres from where he was sitting was deeply moving. Like coming to terms that the scrap heap of the tiger that was unknown to knowing parts of it's operational history and having it sink in...
ОтветитьI want one to go take the bread at the baker's
ОтветитьBless you guys for saving this history for future generations.
ОтветитьCompro 90.000 unidades para o exército brasileiro
ОтветитьMost excellent! Thank you.
Ответить80 years ago a young man was killed in that tank in Latvia, and then it was rebuilt in Australia on the entire other side of the world... And hauled away by a different German tank.
Genuinely insane.
Perhaps the zimmerit should be left off since they discontinued it's use later in the war, and of course as you say you'd lose all that wonderful armour detail.
ОтветитьFasanating to see the development off tiger 1,respect for the builders.
Saving vehicles ww2
so good to see ozz building a tank museum i love it
ОтветитьAwesome work, well done!!!
ОтветитьSkilled men keep the world going.
Ответитьwhat was the tank number?
ОтветитьJust watch this great Episode again, i dont know how often i have done that jet.
Ответить❤❤❤
ОтветитьTnx for building
ОтветитьAll that’s left for them to Aquire is a tiger ii, jagdtiger, porsche tiger, elefant and a sturmtiger
ОтветитьHow the heck does one go about getting Tiger 1 parts?
ОтветитьIncredible work guys!
ОтветитьYour periscopes are French AMX 13 tank periscopes (1950) You can recognize them by the “APX” marking ( voir à 41.40 ) J' ai les 2 modèles: un APX et un modèle allemand démonté par mon oncle sur un char allemand détruit par les américains à coté de Reims à l'automne 1944. but he didn't remember the model of the tank, he only knew that it was a German tank...
ОтветитьIS THE TIGER GOING TO BE A STATIC DESPLAY OR ARE YOU GOING TO GIVE IT A HEART IE PUT A MAYBECK IN IT TO MAKE IT A RUNNER ? IS THE GUN TUBE REAL OR JUST A MOCK UP IE YOU MADE IT ,? GREAT VIDEO HOPE TO THE TIGER UP AN RUNNING ! 👀🥴😃😉🤪👍💓💯🇭🇲 DOC 🇭🇲
ОтветитьI am re-watching this video as I find it both entertaining and inspirational. Something I missed before was that you welded the turret to the body for the time being. WHY? The turret is heavy enough to just "sit" there till it was time to make it a runner.
ОтветитьUmm
Is the intention to at least give this little historic gem a new lick of paint so at least she looks the part?
Looking forward to seeing her mostly complete.
Sorry if this has been asked before. Is your intent to get this running and if so have you found an engine?.
ОтветитьGreat mix, classical and Tiger
ОтветитьPiękny. Dobra robota. Pozdrawiam cały zespół z Polski.
ОтветитьWhy does the Tiger have the small transport tracks? The normal wide tracks does look much better!
ОтветитьVery good! Nice video! ❤💪
Ответить❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉😊😊😊
ОтветитьLeo 1 engine purring away !!!
ОтветитьSubbed mate... beyond epic!!
ОтветитьFascinating to see the Leo1 together with the Tiger. Germans had the best looking tanks and even do today.
ОтветитьLads that is stella work, and I enjoyed watching the rebuild, can't wait to see the Internals go in and it become a runner, Keep at it. Cheers
ОтветитьLoved the tiger being towed by the leopard, seems fitting.
ОтветитьExcellent restoration ❤ very well made/restored, vielen dank aus Deutschland 🇩🇪👍💯
