Yes, the Man from Snowy River is one of my favorite movies. You would be able to retrieve faster if you would learn to cast with one hand on reel with the other. This switching hands back and forth takes time that you could be retrieving, plus what’s this closing of the bail manually? Turn the handle and the bail closes. Lots of useless motions for just one cast.
