H&V - EXPK1-M03-0114-12 - Initial Test on the CMX 70 U

This is my initial test of the EXPK1-M03-0114-12 from Hofmann & Vratny - I have a part specifically designed for testing but I just couldn’t wait so I threw it in a Weldon chuck and let her rip on the job I had running in the CMX.

The feedrate override quickly changed to 150% and it just wanted more..

My initial thoughts are that this endmill cuts extremely well with absolutely no tendencies to vibrate, I would’ve kept pushing it to find that sweet spot but this was the last part of this batch.

I’m planning to test and evaluate this tool in some SS2541-03 this weekend so stay tuned, it’s gonna be awesome!
