Ответитьhi, is there a reason that my character disappears when he goes below a certain point. I suspect its the Z setting but i cant get near the water. Nvm got it it was my kill Z settings

ОтветитьRan into a problem when adding WaterBodyRiver. Was in Landscape mode - needed to be in Selection Mode for this to work. Hope this helps other newbies that may run into this.

do you know why when i walk by the sea, the character isn´t walk under the sea, always walk in the x plain.
And anothe question is, I don´t know why, my river isnt modified my landscape.

If anyone has similar river issues whereby the landscape doesn't form around river and the river floats like a column in mid-air it might be worth checking the following steps
1) Check the splines of the ocean to make sure they form around the landscape, I hadn't moved mine and it meant when I moved the water layer to the top the whole thing went kaput. For some reason I must have missed this part of the tutorial.
2) Move the ocean layer to 0 height.
3) then when I moved the water layer up top I got the following.
4) Make sure affect landscape ticked in details box under Water Heightmap settings
I am sure other more experienced people could probs give better explanations but hopefully this helps at least one person.
does anyone know why my character doesn't go underwater when wlaking on there? Jus did the same as the tutorial but the player is like flying around water. Thanks!
ОтветитьReally small one, when the adding the WaterBodyRiver should be affecting landscape, it is not affecting landscape. I think this might be because things like sculpt and affects landscape are only impacting the base layer and not not the landmass, am I doing something wrong when I set this up? without the affects landscape working it just looks like my river is hovering and defying all known laws.
Ответитьjust in case you're not swamped with notifications - do you have any solutions for giving a multi-layered landscape material depth (like when something rest on it, the object sinks a little bit, like in sand or mud)?
