Who wants carry additional weight for a gimbal does tracking without using an app? Do we care if we need to get an app to be able to use their tracking feature? No. The matter of fact, the app does not offer tracking feature, but video editing and easy to use. To me DJI and Zhiyun are a total winner depending on what you want, compact and less weight or more stability. Yes, it is nice to have a light can change color, but for most of consumers don't need that when you are considering carry the largest gimbal on the market for a smartphone.

You never said what range the person/object must be in for the best tracking results. That's a big deal.

Awesome review. I feel like all these companies will learn from one another and their 2023 offerings. I love the Insta360 Flow but it's made with such flimsy parts and the gimbal often makes an appearance in footage because it sticks out just enough to show. The DJI is a very nice one but that display is so damn hard to remember what is what when in a hurry. I have considered the Hohem but will be waiting to see what 2024 offers at this point. I was able to fit my Ankerwork M60 mic into the mount on the 360 too, which I absolutely love.

Tried them all and decided to keep the Hohem M6. Wider range of motion, feels more in control of the movements, build feels stronger. Def the best one for my needs/expectations. Thanks for all the info!

I don't understand why DJI gets such high praise. Not only did it struggle with the weight of my iphone pro max it would need to be balanced constantly. I was told about the counter weights after I sold it. Also the app was decent but like the reviewer said it seems to disappear from the app store for some reason. I got the Hohem M6 and I'm going to test it out this weekend. Already like the app better than DJI

The question I have is related to the apps. All of these are made in China correct? Any recommendations on the gimbal with the least amount of information collected by their apps? Hohem sounds appealing if you don't even need an app, but I have heard good things about DJI overall.

Those gimbals that exend it would be awesome if they were equipped with an additional phone or viewing device holder , say at the bottom , to mirror the phone that's running the camera to , for events with lots of people , like a concert , to pier over the crowd more effectively . Because i think it would be hard to see what is on the screen with the current single phone setups . So an dual setup . Or an gimbal with just a camera mounted and then a holder at the bottom of unit for my phone to view camera but i like that less as it would make my phones camera useless and it would probably make the gimbal more expensive .
