So great to see both of you from snowy Ontario Canada hi Natalie
ОтветитьWhat a cool shop!
ОтветитьOne of my very favorite yarn shops!!!!! Loved Corrine’s beautiful blazer with her gorgeous knitted colowork vest!!! Great interview Natalie!!!!
ОтветитьLoved seeing you at the Woolly Thistle. I watch their podcast and yours and fun seeing you together.
ОтветитьI send my customers to them because my shop doesnt have many wooly wool customers, and I would love one of everything Woolly Thistle!
ОтветитьI've been following the Woolly Thistle for a while (solely based on the name) so was very excited to see Knitty Natty tour them! My childhood dog was named Thistle, after Scotland's flower 💜
ОтветитьThanks so much for coming to see us, Natalie and Kent! We had such a great time chatting about all things wool with you. It was a real treat to have you in the shop—hope to see you again soon!
ОтветитьLovely yarns! 🧶
ОтветитьBeautiful episode with so much love for (european) wool. Wish I could smell 😊 The woollythistle is my new treasure this year. Thank you!
ОтветитьI loved this so much! The Woolly Thistle is one of my favorite shops and has the best wools. Happy New Year 🎉 Happy knitting 💚🧶🩷
ОтветитьRajiv Surendra has a BEAUTIFUL video all about Gansey sweaters. I cannot recommend it enough.
ОтветитьWhat a treat this episode was, Nat. Thanks to you, Corrine and Jill for sharing this wonderful story of intentional enterprise with quality yarns and fibre. What a great team you have. I wish you all a year of positive endeavours that fill your souls. Go well in your days.🙏❤🌏🐨xx
ОтветитьOh my gosh I need to find my way to this shop! I’m all the way out in California but New England is on my bucket list so I gotta make it there! Such a cute shop!
ОтветитьUGgggh, I keep missing the live premiers! But I still love watching the shops tours! Hope your New Years going great
ОтветитьThanks Natalie. The Woolly Thistle is the very best. The people aka the staff, the podcasts with contributors, are golden. The yarn is terrific.
ОтветитьIm loving all these local videos. Are you planning to check out harisville designs? They mill their yarn right there and have so much cool stuff. I have crocheted so many sweaters from them, they are great.
ОтветитьI've never been to the Wooly Thistle as it's a few hrs from where I live. I frequent my local lys in Rutland VT. My other lys I frequently go to is in Granville NY, called The Yarn Store. By far this is my favorite yarn store because of how the store is set up. There's always someone at the store there to help you with a new stitch crochet or knit. Sometimes it's the owner at times it's another customer. Love the community and country feel.
ОтветитьAmazing video!!! once again you 2 rocked it!
ОтветитьI have followed both your podcasts for years so it was so fun to see you both together. It felt like having two good friends meet and hoping they get along! Thanks for the great episode Corrine and Natalie!
ОтветитьThis was a great video! Nice interviews and information about the beautiful overseas yarns. I enjoyed meeting you and Kent when you were at the WT, Natalie, and have been enjoying knitting several socks from my Woolly Thistle purchases. A new favorite shop for me!
ОтветитьI, too, am a Woolly Thistle fan! Thanks for showing Corinne and the shop. I love having the easy access to the woolly wools that they sell and their podcast is so fun to watch. I never miss one!
ОтветитьCool Natalie another yarn store video. It looks like an amazing store, and their own yarn is beautiful. My friend got me from Purl Soho anniversary sale, their new yarn Pouf 50% Alpaca and 50% Highland wool. It is so fluffy, I got the color Crocus Bud and made a cowl and hat. Oh wow love those Making Tracks colors. I want to make a stripped hat and cowl in blues for my blue coat.
ОтветитьHappy New Year, from Swansea, Illinois. ❤❤❤🎉🎉
ОтветитьThis was so good to watch as I am a subscriber from the UK and to hear about some brands that I am so familiar with! I love so many brands you mentioned and I loved meeting the owner. What a enthusiastic lady and a fabulous store! Thank you x
ОтветитьYour shop tours through the U.S. have been such a joy to watch. I have looked forward to each episode and am kinda sad to know you are almost through all 50 states. I can’t wait to see what you come up with for ‘25 after some much needed rest. Thanks Natalie and Kent for all your hard work. What a lovely shop. You have inspired so many of us to actively seek out new LYS during our own travels and have educated us immensely. Give Toaster some loving ear scratches. So sad to have missed yall in CBus OH.
ОтветитьFun to see you both together-such pros!🧶🫶
ОтветитьLove TWT and its team. Be sure to watch the most recent episode of 12-27-2024, their year end recap. So good.
Thanks Knitty Natty!
When my worlds collide. 😄❤️
ОтветитьI picked up two books from The Woolly Thistle one of is the Grand Shetland Adventure Knits my dream project is the Lucky Lines Pullover in a Dark Green Gotland wool which is hard to find.
ОтветитьI loved this episode! I am a big fan of The Woolly Thistle & love all their yarns. It was fun to have a look at the shop.
ОтветитьI watch the Wooly Thistle podcast whenever it appears. In all times I've watched, I never heard the origin story of their name. Omg, I love that story so much. Thanks for visiting the store Natalie!
ОтветитьThank you from a big TWT fan. It was great to hear Corrine's accent for an extended time. And thank you for the extensive shop tour especially behind the scenes. Sue
ОтветитьMy go-to yarn store. Such great quality yarns and the best customer service! I’m moving to Vermont (from California) this year and am looking forward to visiting the shop!
ОтветитьI really like your podcast, Nathalie, but I miss your voice as AI is obviously translating. That sounds strange and unnatural, too bad. Can you switch off the automatic translation again, that would be great, Ulrike
ОтветитьLove the Woolly Thistle Yarn Shop and it is lovely to just go in and get a few "bits and bobs" as they say. You and Kent are such a wonderful team! thank you. I enjoy your podcast. ttfn
ОтветитьEnjoyed this episode so very much. All that heavenly yarn, I would just go crazy gone there. TU for podcasting The Woolly Thistle ❤❤❤
ОтветитьLovely video!
ОтветитьAfter watching this I’m definitely headed back to the shop! It was closed the last time so I’ll call ahead next time. If you’d been open I’d’ve walked out of there a lot poorer but insanely happy! Next time!
ОтветитьPlease, I want to know the pattern of Corrine’s vest. It’s beautiful.
ОтветитьThanks
ОтветитьI watch and LOVE the Woolly Thistle. They are my inspiration and source for all my woolly wools. It’s so fun to hear their origin story.
ОтветитьIs the UK not in Europe anymore? 😂
ОтветитьThis is a really cool tour. I had to double check the description to see if you went to Europe for a moment 😂. Definitely adding this store to my visit list. There is so much to explore and it seems fairly unique in the US. Thanks for sharing!
ОтветитьDark bluuuuuuuuue
ОтветитьI made the Vanilla Fluff sweater and it is a favorite winter sweater. It's so soft and warm and cozy!! Love it!!
ОтветитьThanks for the tour and interview.
ОтветитьWhat a wonderful tour of the shop & fulfillment center. Absolutely love it ❤
