ОтветитьAwesome instructional video, as always!
ОтветитьHow do you know if your car needs to go in drive or reverse and slam on the brakes to adjust?
ОтветитьWhy did you say that "if you want to see that video the link will be in the description below" when that video doesnt even exist!? Its been 9 years and still coming soon, what does coming soon mean exactly!?
ОтветитьJust a tip for all, I put masking tape on the friction surfaces to keep oil, dirt etc contaminating them. Once all done simply remove. Job done. Great video by the way.
ОтветитьThanks for the solid video. Great editing. And very thorough. Plenty of time was put into making this video and it shows. 👏🏻
Ответитьwhat kind of car
ОтветитьThanks ChrisFix 👍😊
ОтветитьThis video was perfect. Thank you 👍
ОтветитьThis video is a perfect example of why Chrisfix is so popular. I watched another video and thought there was no way I would even attempt changing my rear brakes. I watched this video and have much more confidence. Thanks so much, Chrisfix!!!!
ОтветитьWhy didn't you grease the handbrake lever ? They seize up if you don't.
ОтветитьNobody explains things any better than you. Should be a teacher, wait a minute, you already are.
ОтветитьThe drum cover is stoked on mine how can I get it out? I already try penetrating oil and hammers but nothing
ОтветитьWhat is the best way to get the drums off when they are hanging on the old shoes? I loosened the hand brake but the drum is still catching on the wear lip.
ОтветитьWhat if you do all of this and it squeaks horribly??
Ответитьold video but was seeing if anyone sees this.
I was rushing and left the parking brake on while trying to remove my rear drum brake rotor (I know I just forgot). Anyways, I was able to get it off with the parking brake on by using two 8 mm x 1.25 mm screws and inserting them into the two holes and making it tighter (it's a honda fit). it was tight for obvious reasons but came off.
what kind of damage could have occurred by doing this? by the time I realized this error, I took the parking brake off on the other back wheel and the rotor of course came right off with ease. I test drove it and seems fine. thoughts?
Thank you, very good
ОтветитьThis video is awesome, detailed to the blind and dumb. Weldone bro.
ОтветитьHey nice video ! imagine if you dont adjust the selfadjuster with the screwdriver ...if you just push the brakepedal a couple of times will it also set itself to the right position?
ОтветитьGoing to try changing my brakes for the first time, and this video has given me a lot of confidence. Thanks for the great, step-by-step explanations!
Ответитьi have removed the drum to change one of stud, now the drum is not fitting....😢
ОтветитьVery clearly explained and well filmed as well. Thanks so much.
Ответить97 Pontiac Bonneville has almost nothing in common with the ones you are showing.
ОтветитьVery informative!!
ОтветитьChrisFix is simply the best at explaining this stuff, hands down.
ОтветитьChris, I’m looking to get a 1974 Ford Econoline. The brake hub needs replaced. They said could be possible “slave”. To be honest not sure if it’s rear or front for the hubs. Is this the same parts and same identical process? And for the “slave” (think that’s what they called it) is it difficult to fix that?
ОтветитьI love that one thing left, you made this easy to follow and look easy, thanks man
Ответить💪💪💪GOD BLESS YOU Chris fix very very helpful your videos , you are an inspiration , thank you very much for your time FIRST CLASS VIDEOS 🎥📺🎬📽 !
ОтветитьClassic hey guuuuys
ОтветитьYou say there's supposed to be a little bit of resistance, is it even as you turn the drum or does it go smooth and then hit resistance in a couple spots?
ОтветитьI give this video my highest score.
It's clear, concise,safe,and thorough,
After watching this video you know it's time to do the brakes and stop watching videos. this video covers it all
I love you chris
ОтветитьThis is like the worst drum brake video I have ever seen.
