What's one budgeting tip that you personally have found really helpful? 🤍
ОтветитьGreat video ❤ keep up the great work and smiling 😊
ОтветитьI believe this is very helpful. I love that it is useful even when I’m in the Philippines, my home country...but also looking forward to live abroad with my husband in the future. 🙏🏻
ОтветитьThat was good! Thanks!
ОтветитьI love yur videos!!!
ОтветитьJust realised, my financial future is dependent on left overs 😂
ОтветитьWe r car from rich we r totally debt free too including our home and cars. And we have all we need and more. Yay.
ОтветитьHi Ashlynne, I just wanted to say I've been really inspired by your videos & its awesome how thoughtful you are when it comes to money. I've been watching your content these past few months now. I turn 26 in 6 days (I believe we are around the same age) sadly from when I turned 18 till I got married at 24 I was quite careless financially & got myself into stupid debts like phone plans that suck the money out of you & took a few years to pay off. I tend to look at what I could have done & feel so guilty but I know we can't rewind time. After I got married to my best friend back in 2020 (luckily for me he is a lot smarter financially & that has rubbed off on me ) I started to prioritise a lot more. We are now working on a few savings goals together & are also happily expecting our first little bub (a boy) in May this year. I know things can & will improve from now on. :)
ОтветитьMy husband and I take out cash when we are paid every two weeks. We allocate it to various envelopes ie: groceries, incidentals, gas etc. We also pay ourselves 50$ each every two weeks. That is our “fun money” and we can spend it as we see fit-no questions asked. This has drastically helped us stay on budget and meet our financial goals faster. We want to pay off our mortgage in another 8-10 years and renovated our basement into an apartment to help us reach that goal.
ОтветитьDid you have a budget template available also to see how to keep track of this zero budgeting concept?
ОтветитьMy favorite micro saving tip is an account that adds a certain sum of money to another account every time you pay with card. For example, my account transfers 1.50€ to my micro savings account. It adds up quickly and is super easy! As a student, I can easily build up to 75€ euros per semester when using this method. Plus, the money that you have saved, can works as a small emergency fund as well!
Ответитьwonderful tips!! thank you for the solid advice💗
ОтветитьTrue, I had to tell my niece sorry i cannot join in your wedding. But, I done beading gift its my hobby i gave her and she saved in buying gift saviniour to give her guests. She understood and she was happy.
Thank you for your sharing❤

Love your vids about the minimalist lifestyle. I want that kind of lifestyle too and constantly failing but your vids are a big inspiration. Hopefully I’ll be able to be like you, especially purchasing with no credit or debts involved🤍
ОтветитьBarefoot book helps....
ОтветитьI am currently saving for a deposit on a house but because I'll be buying alone , I'd like a bigger deposit X.

ОтветитьThank you so much for this video, I will set up a new system right away, feeling motivated! :)
Ответитьsince starting a zero based budget i have been able to literally recover from a shopping addiction and lazy spending habits! I will never go back!!💰
Ответить$45k a yr , gosh I barely make over a £12k a year but that’s my uk support worker job for u😀 ok time to finish this video😆
Edit: aaagh loved this video thank you for all the amazing tips! I really want to shop more mindfully because I often find my self literally going food shopping every few days and spend so much!! and end up buying so much crap not gona lie... I want to learn to do my food shopping more on a budget because of all the videos I watch like £20 food budgets etc a week on groceries, when I would spend over £30 ( $40 ) every like 3 days which is CRAZY🙃 not the mention I got 8 takeouts last month impulsively which im so ashamed of lol 😶❤️ xx
Only having one credit card with good rewards.
ОтветитьLiving below your means and no matter how much money you make will have a huge impact on your finances
1. Keep the guide simple with a zero based budget
I am 26 and I lost my job half a year ago and budgeting really opened my eyes and made me realise how much money I spend on bullshit. I recently got a new better payed job and I am definitely planning on sticking to my budget and use the extra income for my savings… I know the rule is 50/30/20 but I am planning on switching the 30/20 so using 30% for my savings/debt and 20% for wants!
ОтветитьOkay so what If I want to travel when I’m young than when I’m old 😔
ОтветитьHey Ashlynne -- I have a question. I realised recently I've strayed very far from my minimalist goals and the way I was living in 2019. Having to stay at home and being deprived of so many types of entertainment and adventures has obviously affected my (and everyone else's) mental health and I finally noticed I've been spending on things I don't need or always want outside of the impulsive moment as a way to fill that hole of want. I was wondering if this has affected you in any way as well, even if just the urge without acting on it, and how you might have dealt with it and corrected the behaviour.
Ответитьsuper helpful thank you! 20% down on a house is super impressive for 1st time home buyers. great work!
ОтветитьSounds like Dave Ramsey to me
ОтветитьLoved this video! Thank you for posting :)
ОтветитьLiving below your means is a choice, and so I would say that it's okay to live within your means if you'd rather do that instead. Money management is going to look different for everyone, and especially if you're working with a very low or fixed income, I would suggest thinking twice before buying something that's not essential or that you could learn to live without. I only say this because I see a quite a few customers in my line of work who have to scrounge around looking for extra change, or even have to take more money out of their account just to make that one purchase.
ОтветитьRecently created a set budget using a Notion page and its helping so much! I’ve saved $65 on subscriptions alone lol. Love this video!
ОтветитьThanks for making it simple. Great tips that are easy to understand :)
ОтветитьThanks for being honest about your income in the tighter seasons! I feel like some people will film budget videos but they also make a lot of money so it’s hard to relate to them!

ОтветитьI have absolutely NO SELF CONTROL! Would LOVE any tips that help me with the I’m Stuck mindset. Love your channel!!!
ОтветитьSo helpful! Thanks for sharing. One tip I’ve found helpful is to use cash for some of my discretionary items like eating out and groceries. It really helps to have something physical in your hand that you can see how much you have left for the time period you’ve budgeted for. Another tip is to include fun money in your budget planning. You work hard to stay within all your other budget categories. Having fun money is great and helps you stick to your plan - because it’s money you can spend on whatever you want. No strings attached.
ОтветитьThat is such a cute top! 🤩
ОтветитьExcellent tips and insights! Thank you, Ashlynne!
ОтветитьThanks for taking the time to share this information with us. This was immensely helpful 🌿
ОтветитьWill you find out if the wind break from ever lane is still available?
ОтветитьI have two bankaccounts. One for monthly and yearly costs and one for fun. I also have Savingaccounts for Emergency and vacation. It helps me alot to seperate money in different budgets.
ОтветитьHow do you track the expenses? Budget done but then i struggle...
