I think the first guy would've done well if he had picked a better song for his voice. The 2nd lady wasn't bad, but again, song choice...and her rendition was a little too over the top (but she still had talent). The 3rd guy...it went downhill the second he said he was going to perform a song he wrote....I already knew 😆. Barbara wasn't bad really, they just didn't give her a chance. The guy after her really wanted to be Bobby Brown so bad lmao. As for Gayle, I could tell she would be good from her demeanor. They need to bring talent shows back without all of the sob stories and inspirational bs.

This period of Apollo had some bad amatuers. The last girl won about 4xs in a row by default because most of the contestants were either too nervous or sucked. Her voice was no where close to the other singers Ive seen win multiple times.

The winner technically got booed at the end by some of the crowd, but what was Sinbad supposed to do? "Looks like we have no winners tonight, you -judgmental critical MF's-!" But then they would have laughed and low-key won that night as host.
