All that fear and panic spread by the US about China taking over Hong Kong was for nothing. After all the protests and panic Hong Kong is once again thriving and doing well, no death camps on the streets like the US scared everyone into thinking was going to happen. People really need to stop listening to all the fear mongering.

When I was student , I usually love to watched HK movies ( 张国荣, 劉德華, 周润发, 王祖賢).
In 1995. I layover in HK when I was 23.I felt traditional HK atmosphere.
After I have not been there again. Now I remember HK movies so everyday watching HK 90s moives.
Hope to visit HK again this year. I don't know HK still remains nostalgic atmosphere.
I love 王祖賢 who is Taiwanese.

Hongkong has changed since the mainland imposed their dictatorial communist policies. This is so boring there's nothing to see here.

As a Hong Konger, I don't recommend you to travel to Hong Kong because it is a boring city.Also,the food and items you buy is Hong Kong are expensive.Lastly,the Hong Konger aims at speed so they just doing their job extremely fast.This might make the staff in Hong Kong rude.

You guys went to hk in the Perfect weather condition if you. In summer, you would be hot like a fried chicken.
