I am amazed how Sri Lankan railways is effective and clean when compared to other South Asian railways including India (in cleanliness), and far better than Pakistan and Bangladesh. This truly shows how education matters for a society. I wish they have more money to modernize the railways, and perhaps electrify at least the main routes.
