This video actually convinced me to go buy the set
ОтветитьI like the Hordika version of Nuju's mask because it's like a mix between a Rhino and a Dinosaur. It just looks cool.
Ответитьive been waiting for this :) im planing to use the saws for a moc
ОтветитьI really never liked the hordika design, it always looked like a sword was in their neck
ОтветитьMy favourite of the Toa Metru team.
ОтветитьWhy do I find it funny that while most of the set descriptions for the Toa Hordika have them contemplate their new forms (Nokama and Matau) or contemplate their mission (Whenua, Vakama, and Onewa), Nuju's description literally just says that he can now talk to flying Rahi?
ОтветитьA while ago, I watched this Kikanalo Hordika MOC showcase by a BIONICLE fan named Chiberus, and he notes some interesting points as to what features can be seen as uncanny from the eyes of a bio-mechanical being like a Matoran: jagged edges, crumpled plating, and discoloration - all of which, he incorporates in his Kikanalo Hordika MOC to good effect.
Try using those types of features when building a Hordika-style MOC!
Who's your favorite out of the Hordika, and Toa Metru??? 🤔🤔🤔🤔😏👍
ОтветитьVakama was the best
ОтветитьThe most stunning part of that Nuju revamp is the legs, they’re literally held together with those brown wires and nothing else but interlocking blades- it’s a miracle they’re able to stand up so well
ОтветитьI feel like the Toa Hordika get a lot of flack for all being the same set, but as someone who just had a couple of them growing up, I really like the overall look. Something about them feels closer to the 2001 sets than the Toa Metru, probably because of the reused mold from those sets, the asymmetry, and less human-like proportions, but also cuz looking more bestial in nature makes me feel like the have a closer tie to, well, nature again, which was something I loved about the 2001 sets. I also really liked the idea of moving the gear function to the arm instead of incorporating it into the torso as a way to improve posability. Ultimately I prefer how the G2 sets strike this balance, but I feel like the arm function could've led to some unique play features if it was explored further. I'm sad this was the last wave to have gear functions in G1 but I'm glad G2 brought it back while it was around
Ответитьimagine panel lining on white pieces tho
ОтветитьI got this on shorts
ОтветитьI made this character called Puruhi, who could fold up into a custom Rahi that I call an Aero Flea. Due to his "half-man half-beast" nature, I decided he could be a new kind of Hordika
ОтветитьLove these breakdown vids so much! Thanks for the showcase and the kind words❤️
ОтветитьI’m ACTUALLY trying to get my hands on every single hordika set right now but I have to send links to my grandma to get my hands on them and I’m halfway there so…I’m just excited for Christmas this year!
Ответить...I had no idea that divot on their torso was to store the rip cord. Bionicle parts were so well designed!!
